Thats a select fire Glock in the picture. Not a G18, but a select fire conversion. And a guy over on subguns.com did the Beta mag conversion to fit the Glock.

I'm not normally a bullpup fan, but that one is looking pretty good.

Seriously its not that hard.

Most gunshops that put night sights on should have one. And I would think that most would be willing to help you get your sight back on and show you how to take apart your gun. It's hard to tell a person how to take a Glock apart. It is alot better when you can show them how/where to put their hands.

You say you took the sights off the gun. Does that mean they broke off of did they just slide out of the dovetail? If they just slide out, and they are not damaged, they should be able to be pushed back in (by the way this is alot easier with a sight pusher than trying to use a hammer). But if they broke then you will need a new sight.

You CAN make a pistol into a SBR.

Did you have the barrel threaded? That break is nice.

The only ones I have ever shot with a stock on it have been G18's. I think on the machine pistol they really help to control it. But IMO I wouldnt pay $200 to put one on a regular Glock. Have you looked that the SP89 (MP5K) series of guns and clones? They are small and compact and more practical than a SBR'd Glock.

My brother has a 7.5" pistol that he got from J&T and we have tortured it. And I mean tortured it. We told Gary when he bought it what were were going to do with it and he just said, if it breaks bring it back. It has has back to back Beta mag dumps pretty regularly. The only time it has ever had a problem was when the gas tube blew up during one Beta mag dump. But that can happen when you get one that hot.

Yea the term "assault rifle" gets on my nerves. A true assault rifle is select fire. Anyway I would start with an AR. They are probably the most popular style of weapon out today. You can just do so many things with them. And if you are dead set against the 5.56/.223 you can get a 6.8 or 6.5. And you always have the option to switch to 5.56/.223 if you want to.

+1 to J&T. Go to the Goodman gun show and talk to Gary. Tell him what you want and he will fix you up. If you go ahead and buy all the upgrade parts you want at first he will put them in the kit and just charge you an upgrade and you wont have alot a spare parts laying around. I would upgrade to a Magpul stock, either the CTR or the MOE if you are trying to save money. Also go with the Magpul flip up rear sight if its a budget build. As far as the .22 conversion kit. I have a Ceiner that I bought a few years ago before the CMMG ones came out. If I was going to do it today I would go with the CMMG just because Mr. Ceiner is a ass and I wouldnt want to give him anymore business. But my kit runs great. J&T sells the .22 conversion kits also.

I think it looks good. I would just be afraid to carry it for the fear of putting a scratch on it.

Yea if he was a regular Joe not a huge deal (but still illegal). But this guy testifies in criminal cases. This opens up alot of the cases he worked to go back to court because there could be suspicion that he was under the influence of drugs when he did the autopsy or when he was on the stand. It has definitely already affected his job and it has the potential to affect many other peoples lives.

Yea if you are going to be at the show this Sunday I'll introduce you to him and his gun. If not then I'll just shoot him an email and tell him you want to see one of their 1911's somtime.
