  1. Kill it with fire! Whatever floats your boat. How bad was the safety installation?
  2. One sure way to get an a≈≈ full of lead.
  3. +1, This! I have owned many, and no failures. I have had more issues out of Kimber than Taurus. I have never personally met anyone with issues with Taurus issues either.
  4. While I agree with you. I say the M&P9c deserves a hat tip here. It's just as good as the 26, imo
  5. can it be carried cocked and locked?
  6. Good read. Propaganda was THICK everywhere else on the site. But, definitely a good article.

    Corbon DPX Rounds

This. IMO, If you can't buy enough to visit the range with it once a month, and put 300 out of the pipe before you carry, it shouldn't be in your pistol. Rounds chamber, fire and recoil differently. Marksmanship is a severely perishable skill. Lower as many variables to the least common denominator. Just say no to "caliber" and "expansion vs penetration debates."
  9. Can I please fire it? I would LOVE to handle it sometime! I will even cover your admission to G&L!
  10. My aunt gets the most horrible service whenever we go out. From the Valet to the Waiter. I hate going places with that heffer! I took her to a very posh restaurant for her 50th birthday. Around $200 each before wine. Our limo was late, the Maitre'D ignored our request for a fireside table despite his tip, the piannist did not know how to play her favorite classical song and our waiter sneezed on her food as he delivered it. It was raining and our return limo had a leak. $2000 and some germ ridden nosh later in a cold limo with the remnants of the broken french classical music that was attempted, I realized, some people just have bad farking luck in certain situations. This year I went back with my girl friend and had the time of my life. Sorry about your luck dude, but every cyclist I know is safe, cool and understanding of the cars around them.
  11. Proof of employment and the dates according to our HR director. If the company volunteers other info that's ok.
  12. You are... You are very unimportant. We ALL are... Unless your responding to an emergency, in which case... you'd likely not care and have your mind on the aforementioned issue. Your late for work? You have to get to your kids before your charged a late fee? The movie starts in 5 minutes? Not my damn fault, get your ass up earlier and don't blame me because I am riding my bike legally and safely. I only ride in lanes to turn and when there is not a shoulder. Convenience has ruined our culture royally. Dont get pissy because there is a guy riding his bike and exercising his rights. like this guy Police Search For Hit-And-Run Suspect - Nashville News Story - WSMV Nashville I hope the driver is found and given the 15 years in an 8x8 with a butt buddy. Rush Rush Rush! Fast Fast Fast! Now Now Now! Enjoy your happy meals and early heart attacks. Slow down, life only happens once. rushing through it will only make it shorter. Any motorist who exits his car and approaches a cyclist or other motorist is an idiot.

Did you dry fire? If so, how was the trigger?
  14. <- Certified mall ninja! I want one.
  15. You can let me hold onto the sig while you figure it out.
  16. Get the 200/f4 with a 2x Teleconverter, puts you moderately in the action. <- Professional Photographer for 10 years.
  17. You can always grab another from the hobby shop and start again... that's what we did. i jacked our up, somethin serious.
  18. not if i can get there b4 they close tomorrow.
  19. Not very dirty. I put 300 rounds of it through my pm9 yesterday and all it needed was a couple of strokes with the bore snake to clean up. I am sure that a fluff and buff may be nice, but from the looks of things, not required. I plan on using this ammo as much as I can. I appreciate that link, I will contact him. Thanks!
  20. I haven't tested it for expansion. Mostly I choose HP's not for their expansion ratio but because they don't travel through as many walls as FMJ.
  21. I have used USA ammo because their JHP prices are really good. Around 1k rounds of 9mm and .45 ammo, and no issues.
  22. I REALLY REALLY liked mine. Except the trigger. Problem is that I have 1911's and I love the SA clean break. It concealed well and shot a little low. Very good groups. Did shoot very soft. Almost a fun range gun. The pf9 pinky extension fits on the mags. Never had any issues out of them. IMO, if taurus spent more time on their triggers they would be perfect.
  23. It's ugly. The blueing is long gone, the ramp has scratches. It looks as if it has been rode hard and put up wet. The action and trigger were smooth. the guy wouldn't budge at $200. I don't need many reasons to buy a gun. But it only came with 1 mag and there are very few replacement parts for it. That being said, I am a sucker for SA 9mm's. I would buy it at $150, but $200 seems high for a gun that I can't fix when it breaks. What do you think?
  24. Hey guys, I took the PM9 out to the range today. I bought it because A.) My Taurus PT709 trigger was B.) I felt I needed a true pocket gun. C.) In the very least I needed 9mm as the cost of .380 ammo was higher and all of my other guns are 9mm. D.) All of the other "pocket" 9mm were either too expensive (Rorabough), to big (PF9) or not available (Kimber Solo). E.) Glock doesn't make a single stack pocket pistol in this size. After pulling the gun out of the box, a few people got closer to have a look. Fit and Finish, tight and neat. The Trigger pull is smooth through the entire pull. It is as good as any high end revolver that I have felt. The trigger break was clean and surprising every time. Accuracy- This is the strange part. With the comfortable pinky extension on, I was all over the place. I had a nice tight 10 inch group at 7 yards. WITHOUT the pinky extension, I got 3 inch groups at the same distance.... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Without the pinky extension, the PM9's stippling is unforgiving and debilitating, but GREATLY more accurate for me. So, I kept the extension off and cursed through 150 rounds of 147gr golden sabre JHP's, and 150 rounds of 115gr fmj. I will get some grip tape and make this a range gun. Even with a 2.7 inch barrel, it's VERY accurate. Reliability, around 320 rounds, NO ISSUES to report. It shoots like a $600 gun should, accurate, reliable and smooth. If you want a pocket 9mm, this is it. I have approved mine for carry duty. Now to get the perfect pocket holster.
