I used Rustoleum on my brand new garage floor 2 years ago. I didn't have to do any prep work, but I did let the concrete cure for 30 days. The key is to not use the floor for ANYTHING until you can coat it or you risk contaminating it and may have to acid etch it. Anyway, no prepping, two kits of Rustoleum, lots of car work and hot tires on it with no pickup or damage to the floor.. still looks great. I taped around the perimeter and threshold so it would look clean, and I cut in all around with a brush, then rolled with a 6' pole and 11" roller in 3x3' sections as stated in the instructions.. then I spread the paint chips on the wet areas. It was really easy and cheap. Just follow the instructions. One kit does approx 250sq ft @ $63. Brand new: Now:

I have a 93 Mustang lx coupe.. It has a 347ci engine and makes 355rwhp/390tq. A list of mods is at www.lxcoupe.com/mods.htm Right nowit's setup up for drag racing with drag radials and skinnies but I will soon be installing Brembo brakes and 17" wheels and tires, along with installing a suspension that is more geared toward going around corners and just driving fast.. Best dragstrip times in the car are with the old 302 setup that made 302rwhp, and it ran 12.50 @ 109 - It should be a few tenths quicker than that with the new engine. [ame] [/ame]

I don't believe that's entirely accurate.. if you are in the car, yes you may use or threaten force, but if you wake up to find someone breaking into your car outside your house, I don't believe the law allows you to threaten force in that situation until you are threatened. As far as "other property," if you have your jack and tools at the track, and witness someone stealing them, you can't threaten deadly force. The castle doctrine applies to being in your house or in your car. There are citizens arrest laws that allow you to use "necessary force" to detain someone who has committed a felony, but I don't know what those are specifically. Can someone elaborate on both issues?
