Congrats on the Christmas present. I got one just like that a couple of years ago for Christmas. More than 15K rounds of 9mm, .40 and 45s and never a problem.

The funny thing is that was still good enough for 2nd on that stage. It was a make or break stage for sure. Congrats on the "man vs man' win.

Well, that depends on the shooter. It was one of those "OMG thats tough" matches. A lot of fun though. I think everyone had a good time.

I wear a golf vest I think I got at Walmart. Just about anything will do.

He has so much more energy now not having to carry around those sand bags.

It was a great match. Six very fun stages and two stages that challenged everyone there.

byrnemm, The steel plates were about 10-12 yards away. IDPA is very welcoming of new shooters and there is nothing you will encounter that can't be done if you take your time. You should try it some time. DaG, We usually follow IDPA rules but this was a modified match. Fully loaded mags, more round count and no cover garment. MCTS does it a few times a year just to mix things up.

Very good match today. Tom had some great stages that challenged everyone. Nice turnout and wonderful weather. Glad to see everyone there. Thanks to everyone who helped setup and tear down. Rick
