Not sure if you've seen this, but it's a pretty cool tool for analyzing why your shots go where they do. Encyclopedia of Bullseye Pistol

Yeah, Olbermann definitely lives in my top five list of people I'd really like to punch in the mouth.

Thanks guys. The more I look at it the more I really like that MOE furniture on the AR. Lumberjack I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to give the CBOB away, but I probably wouldn't hold my breath if I were you:)

$15 is a great price. I got mine from Cal's Sporting. They were $22 for 30 or 42 rounders.

Well, everyone knows that AR's are like barbie dolls for men. I decided to buy mine a new outfit (all Magpul MOE) and she finally got to try it on today. After I took her picture some of the others in the safe were getting jealous, so I HAD to take their pictures too. Then the Wesson brothers got into the act. The CCO is my EDC. The CBOB is wearing amboyna burl grips by Sarge. Of course if Dan is involved the other Wesson wants to play. Model 29-3. Then the slightly modified 10/22. Finally, not gun porn, but I had a chance to go to Solingen, Germany in December and went to the Boker factory. I ended up with this convertible folder with a damascus blade, a ceramic blade and a stainless blade.

Beautiful!! I can't decide between a TRS and an Ed Brown Kobra for my next 1911. Hoping for some really cool 100th anniversary editions next year...

Nice collection. The 625 is on my "want list" along with a model 610.

I second Guns and Leather. I worked with Daniel and got mine shipped to Knoxville for significantly less than I could get it here.

Great job Spoolie. Love the look of the OD frame and black grips.

Just got one from Bud's last week for $982 shipped. Haven't had the chance to shoot it yet (I'll correct that this weekend) but I'll post a mini-range report when I do.

Just got that Midway bag in the mail yesterday and I love it (especially at the sale price). Plenty big enough, plus includes two gun rugs and a smaller "go bag". Also, the brass bag makes me look like less of a dumpster diver when I'm scrounging reloading brass at the range.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I think I'm going to start by taking Jason's advice and actually try to shoot a couple of different ones before I buy. All of the one's I looked at look good. Maybe I need 5 or 6 of these...

Okay, I've got the bug for a suppressor. I think I want one for the 5.56, with my thinking being that I can use it for my AR and for my STG 556. I hear lots of people talk about Yankee Hill, but my dealer here in Knoxville seems to really like AWC. I've also looked at the Gemtechs online. I'm sure there are lots of others I'm missing. For you guys in the know, what do I need to look for? As a follow up question, does anyone have any experience with the integral suppressors, like this one- Amphibian S .22LR : Suppressor : AWC Systems Technology Any gotcha's with the integrals?

A couple of good ideas. I'm sure I'll play around with the design and try to make it more efficient. Thanks for the suggestions.

Great story, I can't wait until my son gets old enough to go out shooting with me. -
Sounds like good deal to me, assuming everything has been taken care of. That's a couple of hundred dollars worth of dies alone.
-
I think I like the brown, but you may need to send it to me for further evaluation.

TBI failed us all and WE pay their salaries

With all due respect, I don't think that's what the thread is saying at all. I think it's saying that TN put an unnecessary restriction on background checks in order to gather more revenue then weren't able to do their part of the job because of the weather. Were it not for the extra (and unnecessary) layer of government that TN had to add in there would have been no issue with background checks and all of the "idiots" out there could have conducted their business (for $10 less per transaction). At least that's how I understood it. -
The bench is 55" x 20" x 34" high. I bought it from an estate sale several years back along with some other woodworking equipment. The manufacturer is WhiteGate. I did a google search and couldn't find a company website but did find several similar benches for sale, unfortunately none in TN.

Anyone heading out there today?
-
I did a search for this topic but didn't find anything, so if this topic has been beaten to death here blame the search engine, not me. Let's see your reloading set ups. I'm kind of new to it and I'd like to see some different approaches to the set up. I'll start. This is my reloading setup very shortly after a clean-up session. My case trimmer, scales and bullets are in the drawers of the bench. New and used brass is separated by caliber in the coffee cans to the left of the picture. The one thing I don't like about my current setup is having the uniflow so close to the press. I find that when I'm decapping spent brass it would be more convenient to not have to reach around the uniflow to drop the brass into the container.

I skipped the gun show today because of the weather so I decided to address the clutter in my gun safe. I took a piece of scrap oak and some felt and spray adhesive and came up with this. I'm pretty happy with it. It slides in and out pretty easily and keeps my guns from laying all over each other.
-
For you guys that went, were there any deals to be found on reloading supplies? I'm thinking of going tomorrow, but hate to spend the $10 to get in if the prices are higher than I'd end up paying at Graf's or Cabela's.

Looking good. Who's her artist?

That is exactly me too, except I don't own a RIA. I wouldn't mind having one, but that's a whole different story...
