  1. Man, you're growing one hell of a knife collection!
  2. I could do without the "BG" rollmarks all over it, but the knife looks nice and the price is right.
  3. Thanks 50 cal. I saw the thread with the injured shooter. I'd definitely hate to fire a 700 grain bullet out of battery. The upper I'm looking at is a MK3.
  4. I went out for a couple of hours and had about the same result as Kenstaroni, although I did pick up some 45 colt ammo from Georgia Arms and a 7.5" upper for my AR pistol lower.
  5. Thanks for the search Daniel. I did bohica but not the tngunowners part. I also searched this site and not Google. I guess that was the difference. Garufa, it will attach to any AR lower. My understanding is that the lower can handle the recoil. That's one of the things I was hoping someone with some direct experience could answer.
  6. Daniel, I saw the Bohica classified ad from last November if that's what you're referring to. Wish I'd been there to buy it. I didn't find anything else in my search that applied specifically to my question.
  7. Anyone have any experience with Bohica arms? The reviews I've read have been good and I talked via email with the owner today. I think I have a man-crush on this upper. I think I need one. Bohica Arms
  8. Some cool stuff on that site. You've probably just cost me at least $100.
  9. I'll bet you that I avoid the same shop for the same reason. I do take it one step further and won't even browse in there. I have however met a couple of TGOers in the parking lot for FTF deals. Customer Service is king with me and I'll gladly pay a couple of extra dollars to support my LGS as long as I get good service.
  10. What he said. They are absolutely addictive. They're also the one gun I have the most trouble selling or trading. I'm a big fan of the Dan Wessons and have a CBOB in .45 (wish I'd gotten the 10mm too) and a CCO, along with a Colt Gold Cup and a Springfield Loaded. The next one will be an Ed Brown Special Forces or Kobra unless I come across a good deal on a 10mm Wesson.
  11. I just can't believe that I picked that day to let my guns go play with yours...
  12. Congrats. I put some more rounds through mine yesterday.
  13. I had some brass cased Herter .380 for an LCP that I had no problems with. Shot and cycled just fine.
  14. Craig's is great if you're military or LE. I've bought both of my Glocks there.
  15. Were you in there at lunchtime on Wednesday?
  16. Sent you a PM. Thanks for the great response.
  17. Okay, I'm going to out myself as a dumbass. I've got an old style (pre-transfer bar) Ruger Single Six that I took apart several years ago with the intent of rebluing and reassembling it. Several years later it's half stripped, still hasn't been blued AND I don't remember how to put it back together . Anyone have any suggestions for a good gunsmith around Knoxville who can do a professional looking blue job for me (at a reasonable cost)?
  18. Just checked mine and it does. Not sure why one would have it and one wouldn't. Curious to know if you find out.
  19. Let me google that for you Let me google that for you
  20. Hey Caveman, I PM'd you the info on the sheath maker that Oh Shoot and I met at the gun show last weekend. Glad you like the knife.
  21. Seriously. This has got to be a joke, right? Please God let this be a joke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg0pDPK56Ys
