  1. Well my company is a little different than most.  We are a small buisness and my direct supervisor is part owner.  We have full admin permissions, but also shit rolls downhill if we install something that isnt approved and buggers up the machine.  They dont like Chrome or Google Earth, both are tools that i find useful, especially earth.  We can create a GPS track in the field and then import direclty into Google Earth and you have a good clear, zoomable aeiral photo.  I just dont put the icons on the desktop and they usually wont erase them.      If there is a malware issue I wont resinstall
  2.   Yes I understand that, but I want specific reasons NOT to reinstall Chrome.  I also know that some IT guys get their panties in a wad over brands and not specific issues.  I can override IT if I can prove it does not have a track record of problems
  3. So for you out there who are smarter than I on this subject.    Everytime our IT department remotes into my computer to fix a problem or glich with the VPN, they delete Google Chrome.  I like the browser, but is it really a problem maker?

  5. you can probably find a myriad of answers, even on this forum.  Truth is springs fail through use, i.e. compression then expansion.  Staying in one position either  loaded or unloaded will not damage the spring.  All my AR mags are loaded, for nothing more than time saving at the range.  and loading them half way is no different than loading them all the way
  6. Good for you. I'll never understand how people think technology is non benificial for developing children. If anything it's a huge advantage. It's not the same as mindless television and video games. Most times even cartoons have lessons to learn and skills to develope, like Dora, Manny an other such characters. We also live in a "I must correct you" society. Even if she feels that you are wrong what gives her the idea anyone wants to hear it?
  7. I just put a 1.5-4x20mm on mine. Have not shot it on the 10/22 yet, but it worked great on my AR-pistol. I'd put a picatinny rail on, get some QD mounts and switch between red dot and scope as desired.
  8. It's a great idea if ride comfort and cost could be made affordable. As someone who drives off road a lot, flat tires are always my biggest enemy. Most people don't get enough flats in the life of a tire to justify a new design.
  9. With the PCL version reticle, would it be hard to calculate holdover for .300 BLK? I want to replace the Barska on my pistol and move it to my 10/22
  10. If you enjoy turkey hunting, it's a 'must see' event. If not this year I'd plan to go next year. It'll be on my calander for sure
  11. I see, I didn't realize you weren't home to receive it. Well you know what we're all waiting on :)
  12. Yeah, I liked Skyfall the best of all 3
  13. Ill say the show is pretty awesome. I spent too much money on calls and I've only been here since 10. It's pretty busy, I'd say tomorrow will be slammed, but it's worth coming for sure
  14. Btw I think we should just sell the water to them...we'd be like oil tycoons
  15. Wait...did it not get delivered today?

  17. Could also be a drop-in-auto sear or lightning link registered pre ban.
  18. They didn't execute him. They set his bunker on fire in an effort to oust him from hiding. He had 3 choices 1) run out and surrender 2) kill himself 3) burn to death. He chose 2 or 3. #1 was never going to be his choice.
  19. Very well done! It would be awesome to see a company pull up, relocate and succeed in a state that won't restrict it's products.
  20. But yes at pre panic prices and availability, I would have bought the Sig and saved $200 bucks, but that's not an option right now.
  21. You go a great AR at pre panic price. That's awesome. I like the Sig M400 but they are not better than the Colt. Colt used to be the ultimate in AR-15s but with modern advances in machining, most brands are good and reliable. People are paying $500+ more for cheaper guns than you bought. Take solice in the fact that you found a great AR at a great price. Now just get some ammo and go run that thing.
  22. Burning the cabin is perfectly logical in this situation. This isn't Waco, there weren't innocent women and children being held hostage. Burn it down! He either dies or comes out running and you shoot him. Win-Win
  23. If you didn't buy it, I'd say its gone
  24. I will be at the American Forest Management booth on Friday. If you see the booth ask for Neil and introduce yourselves
  25. Walmart sells them for $1089 so yeah $1100 is a great price right now.
