  1. That's the only advantage to shooting in crowded fields. When a bit falls you can claim you killed it, cause who could argue
  2. No offense taken, but I'm sure the story is well documented, I'll google and see if I can find it. Edit: This article explains how and why the guy was arrested and how to avoid it. The key is to not take possession of you luggage and hope it gets transferred correctly. http://www.usacarry.com/why-people-get-arrested-airports-firearms/
  3. True. The trouble lies when a flight gets canceled and you are forced to take an overnight layover. Then you have to re-check your bags for the new flight, and declare the weapon. Yes the odds of this actually happening are low, but there are stories out there.
  4. +1 I've made the mistake of thinking that because a company hired me that I owed them something. All you owe them is to work as hard as possible while you're there. If there is no employment contract, go with the best opportunity available. If job #2 is better than your current job, take it, of Job #1 cones along later, take it, if a new opportunity arises, take it. Of course you don't want to move jobs every 2 mos cause that reputation will follow you, but I am always looking for a better opportunity even when content with my job.
  5. Better double check, but I thought ammo had to be separate from firearm.
  6. And figure out how to post them in the thread. I don't want them sent by email.
  7. Send member TimCalhoun a pm, he does 1911 work. And if he can't do it, I'm sure he knows the man for the job.
  8. Jeff you need some of these

Cute indeed. Here is my friends daughter and their dog Lucy.
  10. I'm glad I didn't wait around.
  11. I might try to hook up with you. I gotta make sure Im free first.
  12. Haha, my boss has a bird feeder on the deck and it's soooo tempting
  13. No, the one time I planned to, someone sewed illegal grass 2 weeks before opening, so TWRA closed the field. I've heard it's good but can be crowded.
  14. Interested in this info as well. I've been to Chuck Swan and hunted the public fields. That was fun, but 10 people shooing at the same bird gets kind of hectic.
  15. Well thy have one less now
  16. Thanks Jeff I just made an order and didn't even see they were in stock....so I made another order
  17. Id say the best lower, is the one you can find in stock!
  18. It is against the law in Georgia to carry in any "place of worship" I know other states have similar laws. you know its more of the 'if its illegal, we wont have any more mass shootings, cause you know, its illegal' I carry at church every time I'm there. Trouble and disparity have now time clock, and certainly no boundaries. I trust the Lord protects, but sometimes I believe its as much through God giving us the ability to protect ourselves as it is divine intervention.
  19. Spray dispensed 500grains at a time.
  20. I can't view the article without agreeing to receive emails.
  21. Wow, there are a lot of typos in that article.
  22. How could anyone build an AR pistol this way? BCM and other online sites just say "NFA rules apply"
  23. Not to mention that bullet in the video did some nice 'end over end' tumbling.
  24. I forgot about that part. I agree with Nysos. Just build a pistol lower and then change to stock once the stamp comes in.
  25. I was unaware of that. Good to know.
