  1. Av88tor, I must say, posting a "you're safe sucks" video after he bought it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You could have offered it as, 'here is some info to help keep your safe from being broken into'. The way it came across seems spiteful that it's not the company you'd recommend. Makes me not want to buy a safe from you just out of principle. That and the fact that you and Safes argue in every safe thread.
  2. I had a 4.0 inline 6 and it did fine with the right gear-to-tire ratio. It was hard on gas though. I had no experience with the 3.8 which came prior to this new 3.6
  3. Yeah I can't view the thread either it says I don't have permission even though I'm logged in. What was the username here?
  4. Oh I was just kidding about the sharpie. Im dumb but I ain't stupid

    Ruger LCP

I found a little bur in the chamber of mine so check for that as well. It broke off with a little pressure. I don't know if it was causing the FTF or not. But do as stated above and let us know how the results go.
  6. I'll post results of this trial
  7. Yeah, and it runs like a scolded dog too I do wipe it down with an oily rag, but it's not as dirty as you might think. Plus I use grease on the rails and barrel lugs. It never even gets close to tacky. Plus I'll change the recoil spring every 2k.
  8. Not to derail your thread, but what are the advantages of the new engine?
  9. Basketball players with $1300 cash?? I'm goin out on a stereotypical limb here and say this may have been a drug deal turned robbery. I didn't have 13 cents in college let alone $1300
  10. You can carry a handgun in the woods for hunting purposes without an HCP or special stamp. But without a HCP once you get to your vehicle you must unload just like a rifle. Now I wouldn't carry both a rifle and a handgun without an HCP. But per the original question. yes you can carry even when bow and muzzleloader hunting.
  11. I'm near Decature right now, if you're we're open Thurs I'd come by tonight. I'll try to swing by in the next couple weeks.
  12. I thought he said Rand not Ron
  13. I didn't really notice it until it was pronounced. I don't clean it but about every 1000 rds or so. So most mornings I just grab it do a press check and safety check and go. But the uneven edges and lack of scratches leads me to believe its progressive wear.
  14. This is exactly my point from the other thread. It's not Ron Paul that's the problem. It's the idiot championing for him (Alex Jones). He is so bat #### crazy it's not even funny. I do not now nor will I ever believe that everything from our food to our drinking water is poisoned on purpose by the New World Order.
  15. This goes for me as well. I would love for Paul to get the nomination and I would vote for him. But if he doesn't I won't risk 4 more Obamas to vote for him on a 3rd party ticket. I don't think he can't win because Fox news told that to me. I think he can't win because I think he can't win. I see the world we live in, especially outside of the south. It's not as conservative as one may perceive while living here. I think he is too polarizing on too many issues and frankly his affiliation with Alex Jones is enough to NOT get him elected alone.
  16. Edit: I see you're in Etowah, what's your shop?
  17. I'd say it sees more contact than I notice. I carry in OWB Galco, and ride in the truck a lot. So I imagine it sees a lot of 'cover garment contact'
  18. This is cut and dry Child Abuse that resulted in the death of a young girl. They deserve the murder charge and if the evidence collaborates with the news article, I hope they are convicted. Im all for discipline and taking charge if your child's nutrition, but this was neither. Makes me sick to my stomach. Make no mistake that poor girl was suffering long before her body quit working.
  19. This was my thoughts, just wanted a little "other user" confirmation. as I said I could always pull the beavertail an have it re-Armor Coated later if I really felt the desire.
  20. This. There is a difference between secret and Elite. One you don't know exists, the other you know exists, but you can't do sh*t about it. But it does seem to cast a "cocky" factor on a group of soldiers who were once believed to be quiet and humble(unless you meat one in a bar and then they are cocky)
  21. Ahh, I'll give that a try.......or not
  22. I agree with mike that he shouldn't have pulled the trigger. A fleeing burglar cannot be shot. You just have to let him go. But I also agree with the OP, the story makes my blood pressure rise as well. They seized his guns and he faces up to 7 years in prison. At the most it should be a simple misdemeanor. People are far more reckless with their cars on a regular basis with no such recourse.
  23. ^^^^this Plus if you think they are just lone trucks on the highway, think again. They have guys with guns and itchy trigger fingers, just waiting for the day they get to shoot a terrorist.
  24. So my TRP is about a yet old but I've only carried it probably 6 months. I now have some finish wear on the beavertail. I don't recall ever bumping it or hitting it hard on something. Anyone else experience anything like this? It doesn't upset me, but I would like to have it fixed if it's a defect problem. I it's just normal wear I can get the beavertail recoated later. Obligatory crappy cell pics
  25. It's pretty handy too. If you've got a private place to shoot, just grab some ammo and throw the target down and start shooting. No paper, no target stands.
