I guess the officer should have known the law. They are lucky to settle for that low of an amount.

Many labs have a high drive and need extra exercise and play time. A good ole fashion tennis ball being thrown can help. They have that retrieving drive and it helps them get some exercise. Also if the dog is on lead/leash when correcting them always use verbal along with the lead correction. If you are worried about interaction between the dogs get them on lead around each other to get the initial tension out the way. Let them sniff and correct the dog if they start becoming aggressive. At one year old the dog still has puppy in them and will behave that way at times. Just maintain dominance and don't accept letting the dog begin bad behavior.

You have just been a ray of sunshine since joining. I don't know your past involvement with law enforcement and really don't care. A weapon doesn't make a man so disarming cops isnt the answer. You do have the option of trying to get hired and change things to improve what you think is a poor image of your law enforcement.

I've been wanting to start researching the family history but I'm not quite sure what resources to use. Any suggestions? I've seen ancestory.com but haven't heard any feedback so I was hesitant to pay for it.

Egyptian flash mob?

How is that harassment? I know you love posting shit trying to get a rise out of people but this isn't anything. The guy and or group have no legal ability to attach anything to the overpass. When the guy tries to go over to interfere with the highway worker the officer stops hm. He refuses to back up he gets backed up. Then he flops down worse than Lebron James. His being a vet doesn't have anything to do with this other than using it as a crutch to get sympathy.

That star means he has the rank of Commander. He is the Commander of the Central Precinct.

I see nothing about those being departmental weapons. So what's the problem with a citizen enjoying some good 2nd Ammendment time? People are all butt hurt up there because he is trash talking the libs on his own private time and they want it to be considered by a gov official and want him disciplined.

I carry a glock 27 most of the time in a galco matrix holster. It rides close enough and with the size of the subcompact it is easily covered by a t-shirt with barely any printing.

There are times when action has to be taken even without backup or additional officers. Also the use of a rifle is dictated by different reasons. If it is reported the suspect has a long gun I deploy my rifle, I don't want to match a pistol versus rifle. I wouldn't expect any reasonable person to do it so I won't. Also I don't know how many of you have actually dealt with some real thugs or gang members they have pistols pulled on them in their line of work in their rough neighborhoods so pistols don't always have the same psycological effect.

That photo with the laser on his head should have made the cover.

Zimmerman Juror to Write Book About Trial
Pain103 replied to xjsnake's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'm sure plenty of people will want to know the jurors tell their stories but I think the evidence did all the talking needed. I don't fault them for being able to market their unique experience but I believe the blame leaders will use it as another excuse to stir up trouble. -
It is only a sign not an actual roadblock. There is no restriction having the sign like conducting an actual roadblock. You get pulled over for committing a traffic offense not because you turn after seeing the sign. All the sign does is raise an officer's suspicion but not enough alone to conduct a stop. There is nothing wrong with it and there is no way a sign violates any rights.

Try looking for houses just north of the city limits of Dickson or in Burns.

He wanted to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter because he didn't feel there was enough there to say it was self defense just based on his visible injuries. From what I've seen so far of the trial there is no way beyond a reasonable doubt can be met unless the jury has been pressured or they judge him through the media court. Also did anybody notice when they showed his statement form on national tv they showed his license number and social securoty number? Then something was said the prosecution was like oh yea I'll cover that.

Is it bad my first thought was that could be useful?

The story doesn't really mention much information other than the dog died. People are going to assume that he was left in vehicle that was not running and the windows up. I would guess with him being an experienced handler his vehicle was running but died. Still should have periodically checked on him. If it is found he was reckless and negligent he should be charged and disciplined. I am a k-9 handler and I'm very protective about my partner as are most handlers I know. If I have to be out of the vehicle away from him I make sure to make checks on hm and tn ensure the vehicle is running with air circulating. Would be nice to have one of those k-9 alarm systems to warn the handler of excessive temperature but many departmemts wont pay for them.
