  1. Sorry Dan. I knew why you were modifying the sling. If you want a Magpul sling and the Noveske QD plate, it's the best way to do it. The down side is that you have to do it again if you replace the sling. Just one of the little bullet point on the list. I still may go that way. I'm not really considering any 3 point options.

I like the PK380. Haven't shot one, but I've fondled a few. Watched it closely since it came out. I have a P22, and am a big fan of the way it feels and shoots.
  3. I used to be able to work the old military slings when I was a young 'un, but I forgot now. I have one, but it's just a carry strap now. I like Smith's sling too, but want something that uses quick connections. I really like the Magpul sling because it easily goes from single point to 2 point. I like Dane's solution too, but not sure I want to modify the sling. Thanks to everybody so far.
  4. I LIKE that varmint rifle. Have you thought about one of these?. I have one on my PRS, and it's well worth it to me...

The PK380 is a soft shooter. It's also quite a bit bigger than the Sig. I wouldn't call it a pocket gun.
  6. Yep. I like it. It's not going to allow the swivel to pivot a full 180 degrees. So, when the rifle is hanging flat against your chest, there will be some twist in the sling. Not sure that it matters
  7. I like it. My next carbine probably won't be black either
  8. Don't think so. The DD includes the swivel. Gear Sector | Noveske QD End Plate
  9. Well... you must have read the wrong book. Happens all the time
  10. It has tatas. Jesus was flat chested. I read that in a book somewhere.
  11. He'll need a sippy cup sooner or later anyway. Might as well start out with it so he doesn't have to find it later.
  12. Actually, that link was to a Daniel Defense. They have the Noveske as well. Thanks for the tip.
  13. Old Starter and Jack Daniels? You're gonna be a fun guy tonight if you don't explode
  14. Yep. Gear Sector had the QD plates as well. One of the thinks that caught my eye on their site... Gear Sector | QD Swivel Mount
  15. Looks pretty evil, but it ain't black

You need to put the finger extension on the mag. It helps. Good review
  17. The magpul attachment point is what will rattle. It has a loose steel ring. EDIT: I have thought about doing the same thing... a one piece attachment point with the magpul sling
  18. I see some real possibilities with their stuff
  19. You just never know until it happens . How's that for avoiding stereotypes?
  20. More like bimbo bashing. Her behavior surprised me too.
  21. The Magpul solution certainly isn't low budget. I really like the easy conversion from single point to two point. Since I'm a country boy, I've always used slings to carry rifles, not wear them like a big necklace . There are obvious advantages with a single point sling once you're ready to shoot it. Those advantages go away if you're just carrying the rifle from point A to point B.
  22. Time to add a sling system to my M4 style AR. I'm looking for opinions so I can maybe buy the right stuff on the first try. I'm a Magpul junkie anyway, and really like what I see in this video. The down side is that the Magpul attachment point is going to add some rattle to the rifle even when the sling isn't attached. Comments?

  24. I have extra contents insurance on my homeowner's policy, so there's a dollar value attached to contents. I really need to get my records up to date.
