  1. AR's are different. You just gotta itemize all the stuff. Most of my long guns are off the rack with an optics package. Easy to find replacement value.
  2. CC? I don't have the receipts for all my guns. I have a database that holds pics and details. I always assumed replacement value is what insurance folks go by.
  3. Well, they're both a .223 hole. I'm with you... not into girls on testosterone.
  4. Just call me ole caliper eyes
  5. A .223 IS a .22. It's an AR15 with a stainless bull barrel. Look at the bolt carrier.
  6. I'll take my chances
  7. This one!!!
  8. Looks a bull barrel. My bull looks like that, and a .223 goes thru it just fine. If I'm not mistaken, that pic is from a match trigger site.
  9. On page 1 or 2. Meanwhile, over on the whiskey thread, they're all gonna go out in the front yard and shoot in awhile
  10. Yep. Booker's is just a little warm. It's 125 proof (or so). A couple of ice cubes tones it down a little.
  11. Punny likes homos
  12. See post #89. He knows all that stuff. In his case, the gun is always a prop.
  13. Something tells me that 1911 was running hotter than an old black powder gun could get. Yes, real interesting. Probably the most interesting part was Browning's team's drastic reduction in failures.
  14. I really dislike that guy, but you gotta give him credit for NOT getting shot.
  15. Yep, and Knob Creek is Booker's Light. I usually add ice to Bookers, unless I'm hitting the flask.
  16. Drinking freezer bourbon just makes me want to shoot my guns. Since I can't drive anywhere, I wind up doing it in the front yard.
  17. ... and it usually isn't. You just don't want to open those possibilities. Unfortunately, we live in a society where a LOT of folks are scared of guns. I fully believe in 2A, but I also try to use some common sense. Why would anybody do anything to trigger another person's fear of guns? That's not excercising your rights. The easiest way to avoid it is to simply not wave your gun around in the presence of sheeple. You're not going to fix them. All you're going to do is wind of with a response that you won't like. Now, if you're in your driveway, and are forced to draw your gun for legitimate self defense reasons, it's a different story.
  18. And the police man sez... Just say no.
  19. These will help too. https://www.readytodefend.com/index.php?main_page=categories_products_listing&cPath=3&page=1
  20. Jerky!
  21. Knowing you, you were shooting golf balls at 300 yards on a dead run . After reading this thread, I'm going to try some decent ammo in my Mini and see how it performs. I've never shot anything but 55gr SHTF ammo thru it. Even with the cheesey stuff, it was shooting under 1 1/2".
  22. Is it just me, or did you cringe a little when they decided to dip the gun in water in the first series of tests? Interesting read!
  23. I'll try it. Don't recall seeing it around though. Frugals?
  24. Isn't on target a 25 yard range?
