  1. This kinda confrontation almost always goes the wrong way.
  2. Like I said earlier, an email to the Williamson county SO would probably get the ball rolling on that.
  3. Too bad there's so much truth in it.
  4. It's real dumb putting the wrong ammo in a rifle. With that said, if this guy put a short action round in a long action rifle, and didn't feel that something just wasn't right, I would be a little concerned about handing him another functional firearm. He's lucky they didn't have to repair his face.

  6. Yep... time for some Bimbonomics
  7. Yep. If all the Democrats died tomorrow, we would still be royally screwed.
  8. That's what I've been saying for years. They missed the gun because it wasn't in his shoes.
  9. I had one try to attack me once. I just blew a plug out of the ground in front of him, and he changed his mind. Second round would have gone into the dog.

The LCP has a slide lock, but it's manual. Doesn't lock back on the last round.
  11. No problem. Jamie tazed his ass
  12. Beaten over the head and tazed. Bet he won't do that again
  13. I guess I could say the same thing. All my pistols are DA, at least on the first round, except for my 1911. So, the only time I CAN carry cocked and locked is when I'm carrying my 1911.
  14. One in the chamber... always
  15. That's what I'm talkin' about. Plenty of room for explosives, and enough ass shrapnel to knock down a small building.
  16. That depends on the Mini. Latest generation with a 16" barrel probably doesn't shift much more than an AR. Mine has an Accustrut, so I can't see any stringing at all. Older Minis were all over the place. I still prefer the AR, but accuracy isn't one of the reasons.
  17. Some of the average Walmart shoppers can hide up to 8 lbs of C4 in their butt. It's a good place to start.

    1911? :)

I think Tim Calhoun summed it up nicely. If you are going to shoot thousands of rounds a year, like he does, you probably need to stick with the better guns so they don't wear out. For guys like me that don't shoot a 1911 that often, my Springer GI is just fine. It works, and I'll never wear it out.
  19. ... and here in the US, a door-to-door search for Butt Bombs will commence immediately. Trim your finger nails boys, we're goin' in.
