I've had an Ultra CDP II for about two years. It's an excellent pistol and one of my favorite to carry. At the distances likely to be seen in self defense, I shoot it as accurately as a 5" 1911. Having read that some had problems with the Ultra and other 3" 1911s, I got several magazines from Wilson Combat. I've never had a problem with this pistol.

I'm another owner of a G27 and XD-40sc. Both are dependable and fun to shoot. I may be a little more accurate with the XD but the difference is small.

It took most of my paycheck to get my 1911.

I put my safe in a closet, and after filling it with several thousand rounds of ammunition, it's not going anywhere. A few coonhounds will also help to slow down anyone who visits here

My XD 40sc has been an excellent pistol for the two years I've had it. Never had any issues with it.

Just got the second one a few weeks ago.

Tucker gunleather in TX offers a good selection of holsters and belts. It's a waste of money to get a quality holster and use it with a cheap belt!

I've used Hoppe"s No. 9 Solvent and Mil-comm MC2500 for the last few years.

Is there any place near Memphis to fire a rifle without getting robbed (MSSA)? I usually use Desota Rifle and Pistol, but it's closed from Nov to Mar.

The mini 14 6.8 spc is a fine rifle! My only complaint was waiting over a year to get 10 and 20 round mags from Promag.

Can't go wrong with a Colt! But look at the Springfield TRP-I love mine!

Got my first glack(G27) a few weeks ago. I hate to say it's been a good pistol, could replace an XD40sc as a carry weapon.

I'll be glad when the price on primers drops.
