  1. I'm currently using an IWB from Wilson Combat.  It's one of several that I've worn that do the job reasonbly well.
  2. Congrats on the garand.  I got one made in 54-56 a few months ago.  The ammo from CMP has worked well in mine.
  3. That describes almost every day in memphis
  4. I've been in "combat" with a few women, sometimes I won, sometimes they won.
  5. That's all he has.  He isn't a dog or a bounty hunter!
  6. The group in Washington isn't worried about a few bombs in Boston, the're after dangerous targets like those supporting the Tea Party.
  7. Congrats on the permit!  Don't forget to do the Walmart trip for your first ccw trip.
  8. I was thinking, when cows fly from TX to TN to show us what good BBQ is
  9. I'd prefer to have a revolver in the woods, as I'm more likely to have a problem with a snake than a bear.
  10. I'm too old to fight, too tired to run.  That only gives me one remaining option.  Hopefully the past decades have provided some ability to avoid those situations
  11. Congrats on a nice pistol.  Let us know how it does at the range.
  12. It's unfortunate the police didn't see the incident and put both of them in a cell, so they could get to know one another better.
  13. Did David kill Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 or turn the other cheek?
  14. From past experience, it's much easier and cheaper to get a permit, than to pay the legal expenses for not having it. :-\   Actually the class and permit in TN costs me more than the court expenses for carrying w/o permit in TX.  I know I would not be likely to be that fortunate if it happened again.
  15. .....Least fun gun I've ever shot.   I've found the LCP to be a nice pistol for the purpose I purchased it for.  I carry it at times that I would likely otherwise be unarmed.  It gets fired for practice, to accomplish it's role as a back up, but not as a range pistol.
  16. I've had a MK1 for years.  I'd like to find another.
  17. Recently I've seem them priced from $330 to over 400.
  18. My favorite handgun is a 1911:   Wilson CQB SA Pro PC9111 SA PC9108LP TRP Colt Combat Elite Colt Commander Ruger Commander
  19. .380 and .38+p - a few boxes   9mm, .40 and .45acp - sizable amounts
  20. I don't see a problem.  If you want/need something, you pay the price necessary to obtain it.    I'd like a new Ford truck for about $3500.  There isn't a dealer that will sell one at that price, are they all scalpers?
  21. obama will not be known as the most successful President in history.  He will be remembered for his efforts to change our country from the principles it was founded upon.
  22. Congress will only change, if we force them too.
  23. Congrats on a fine pistol.  Be careful.  The 1911 is addictive and the result could exceed the capacity of your safe in a short time.
