  1. Is a $60,000 vehicle worth it?  A $15,000 vehicle will go faster than the law allows.   Only the buyer can determine if a automobile or a gun is worth the price.  Many factors are involved in that decision.
  2. I recently purchased a Ruger commander after several months of searching to find one.  It's a well made and dependable pistol.
  3. Ya can't fix stupid.
  4. It makes me appreciate my walnut stocks even more than I did before I saw that thing.
  5. A few hundred rounds of each, ready for my AR, M1A and M1 Garand.  Also, few hundred rounds of 45 and 40 loaded in mags.  They're easy to count that way.

    Debating Choices

The availability of a round has become more important than the price  for me.  I haven't had any problem getting .308.
  7. Ultima-lube from Wilson Combat or TW-25B
  8. Don't tell the new yorkers about your new home.  Most of them need to stay there.

    .40 compacts

Springfield XD40sc would be a good option.
  11. My choice of pistol to carry as well as how I carry it, varies with my surroundings, weather and other variables.  It would be very rare that I would open carry.
  12. After passing the technician test, you can take the general test immediately, without paying another test fee.  If the general exam is passed, you my follow it with the extra test.  I've seen an individual pass the three tests in one day, but it doesn't happen very often.

  18. ... I wish journalism schools would teach a proper grasp of how to effectively communicate.   The goal of modern journalism isn't effective communication.  Manipulation of facts to create a story and push a liberal agenda are the skills being taught in journalism schools
  19. obama has been an excellent student of the previous leaders who have attempted to control the citizens.  They would be proud of him.
  20. handgunlaw.us, uscarry.com and state dps sites should provide all the information you need.  I usually print and carry a copy for the states I travel in.
  21. As an owner of several Ruger firearms, I've had good customer service from them for over twenty years.  I've only ordered ontine from ruger a few times but always had good results.

    Remember When

remember when every boy had a knife at school?
  24. I eliminate all sources of distraction when I am at my reloading bench.  As a new reloader back in the 70s, I managed to under fill a case.  The bullet lodged in the barrel and was easily removed.  The result could have been much more serious.
  25. We get the government we deserve.  We elected those who "should" represent us.
