Sadly this can apply to a lot of things. I've seen some cases where innocent people are convicted because an "expert" testified to it based on junk science. Bite marks for example. We have a low bar in this country for what makes someone an expert.

The HVAC grill I ordered finally came so I got that installed today. It looks better but not perfect. The floor joist is preventing it from being flush against the ceiling but I think I can can cut the grill to make it work.

I agree. I never visit either and I'm only an hour away or less. When we go hiking we avoid the national park and pick lesser known trails in other counties.

I said the same thing. The only reason why they didn't kill someone on the other side of I40 is because the median had a huge slope that kept them contained to the grass. That type of cable barrier seemed completely ineffective and really concerned me. It's not like it was a big vehicle either.

The ideal feature would be a Dash Cam that has Bluetooth and sends the video directly to my phone. My dashcam doesn't do this but I haven't had any issues retrieving the data on my computer. I've captured 3 different wrecks on mine. Mine is always recording while I drive and will supposedly record if my vehicle is hit while I'm parked. Viofo is the brand. Around $100 on Amazon.

And that's exactly what happened. 500 mostly pavement miles killed the back tire. My goal this year is to ride a lot more off pavement. It's more fun and I don't have to worry as much about someone killing me.

For me, the problem with Longmire is that we're supposed to believe this tiny town in Wyoming has a higher murder rate than Chicago. It's basically Law and Order cowboy edition. The characters are likeable though. It's not a bad show to pass the time but I tapped out after a few seasons.

HBO max has a great new show I think you will like called The Last of US. Another popular show on there is White Lotus. The Menu is a good but strange movie you might like. Netflix- Bullet Train. Action movie with Brad Pitt. if you don't mind voiceover, Snow Girl was good. So is Kleo. Great documentary-The Pharmacist The Sinner and Mindhunter are two more good series.

Basic handyman skills. I was never taught anything about tools. I've learned everything as an adult by watching YouTube or using forums. My learning curve would have been a lot smaller had I learned some basics as a kid. I know someone already mentioned cooking and I agree. Same story. I learned how to cook as an adult.
