Yesterday was a great day for witnessing acts that usually go unpunished finally receive some justice. I stopped by Home Depot in the morning and watched a skeezy shoplifter get busted. Then as I was leaving work I see a Hawk swoop down from the sky and snatch up a nasty rat and fly off with it. Last night I went out to dinner with my wife and two punk teenagers were racing each other on the freeway. One blows by me on the wrong side going about 90 and there is a cop sittin right there! If you aint livin' right you need to beware my presence this week cause justice is followin' me around!

Carl may not have always been a complete a$$ but he sure has it down pat now. A few years ago I went in there to join the range. He started out by asking me why I didn't just go shoot at PC for free, then he began grilling me on my political leanings. I told him I didn't see how that was relevant to joining the range and asked if I could join or not. I filled out his form and pulled out a check card to pay and he looked at me like I was an alien and told me to come back and just pay with cash. I walked out and decided to never return. Two weeks later he called and left me a voicemail thanking me for wasting his time and informing that he was just going to rip up my file and throw it away. I have never been back.

Haven't shot one yet, but have spent alot of time holding them and reading up on them. I have seen them around for 510-530. By all accounts it is a fantastic bare bones 1911 for that price. They have been out for awhile and I have yet to hear any horror stories.

How are these shows? Any good? The Chattanooga shows have turned into flea markets.

In order to make this work you have to have a way to live entirely out of the system. You can't put your name on anything digital or concrete. You have to deal in cash or barter only and keep your cash on you or somewhere safe out of a bank. Your name can not be on anything of value because they will take it. You have to find a job that pays cash under the table. They don't care so much about putting you in jail, they will just take what you owe right out of your bank account or out of your paycheck. Trust me, I know.

Not yet. They are set to open the 15th with the range soon to follow. They will be on the corner of Shallowford and Polymer close to the old Bi-Lo warehouses.

They are a fantastic 1911 for under $500. Good shooters and I have never had a problem with the one I got. It has been my truck gun/knock around gun for awhile and has stood up to the abuse very well.
