Wow man, really. The actions are their fault, I won't make excuses for anyone. But if it's non-violent how long does someone need to pay for their transgressions before it's enough? My brother got involved in some stupid stuff in Nashville a few years back. All non violent charges but he could not afford a lawyer and got hammered on the money laundering and tax evasion charges. He spent 3 years in prison and the only job he can land now is a crappy over the road truck driver job. He was lucky to get that. If you don't allow anyone a second chance to re-enter society and function normally within the confines of the law what do you think they will do to survive? I'm not making excuses for anyone, God knows he put my family through hell and I'm still pissed, but he paid his debt. He did more time than alot of violent offenders and has been stuggling to make ends meet for years now. How long do non-violent felons need to be ostracized before somebody like you can cut them a break?

It could. Or we could see a rise in people's guns being snatched from them and used against them and others, thus fueling the anti's agenda. Where would we be then? It's a personal choice, everyone needs to carry the way they feel most comfortable.

I carry concealed for the same reason that I carry at all. People are crazy and I have no idea what someone might do. I would rather have that "ace in the hole" than show my whole hand from the outset. I don't feel the need to make any kind of political statement or sway someone's opinion when I carry. If someone else does then good on them, I carry for my safety and the safety of my family.

Why don't you just put a freeze on your credit? It's as effective as anything else and I don't think it costs anything.

I actually almost picked up a Windicator for the exact same reason a few weeks ago. There was a guy at one of the shows around here selling them for $260 plus tax and background brand new. At that price how can you go wrong just throwin' it under the seat of the truck or even having it as a decoy gun somewhere.

I'll wind up with a P 30L before too long. Those are some great looking guns there.
