  1. I can not stand Olbermann. He pisses me off almost as much as Bill Mahr. I don't know how anyone could turn down an invitation from that chick though!
  2. How long has this guy been open? I am pretty familiar with the Ocoee region and have never heard of this place.
  3. 50 Cent got started on the internet, maybe you can too Rightwinger. There's gotta be a market for sweey kitty rhymes.
  4. I've had great luck with my Comp-Tac. It's really comfortable and has been a great holster.
  5. If you leave the scene of a shhoting for any other reason than for your own safety and go anywhere that is not a police station you can gaurantee yourself a murder charge. There are many documented cases of people doing just this and the lucky got to plea down to Manslaughter. If nothing else you have just ensured that you will land in court either criminal or civil and will rack up a mountain of lawyer fees. In short only an idiot would leave the scene of a justifiable shooting as flleing implies guilt. I suggest you pick up a copy of Massad Ayoob's book In the Gravest Extreme. It goes over all these scenarios and should be considered required reading for anyone who beleives they may have to use a gun in defense of their life.
  6. There are some great quotes in there. I like #25.
  7. Ed Brown 1911 Special Forces. Don't own one but it was sweet
  8. Practice. And not just on the range. Practice trigger control by dry firing as well.
  9. I should be setup in the back corner by the food place. Stop by and say hello if you want.
  10. Both those pictures look like villians from Arnold's classic flick The Running Man!
  11. I'll be there. I'm working a couple tables for a buddy of mine.
  12. Wait, they invited Vanderbilt to a sports event? That doesn't make much sense.
  13. And it's still twice as reliable as any "domestic" manufacturer. I also have a '01 Tacoma with 150,000 on it. No problems and it is running strong.
  14. If this is your first gun you should get a 19. Practice will be most important and this will be the least expensive gun for you to practice with. It's easy to carry and you can feel good about shooting this gun in IDPA matches should you choose to go that route.
  15. Crossbreed holsters are good. I'm also really happy with my Comp-Tac holster.
  16. I would at least hang on to the FNP9 for a few months longer. I know this gets beaten to death but I will say it anyway. Given Rugers recent track record on new releases do you really want to trade away a proven good gun on a new SR9c with no track record. And by that time you could have saved up enough coin to just buy one.
  17. You need to be careful here. When my wife and I were dating I got here addicted to sporting clays. She would only shoot with a 12 gage. Then she got good with the 12 and I was too scared not to marry her.
  18. I always liked the way these guns felt. Be interested to lay hands on these.
  19. I don't either. Only place I know of in Bradley anymore is the Cleveland Hunting and Pistol Club.
  20. +1 on the Charter for the money. I got a Charter Arms Undercover for my wife when I'm gone. Decent little gun for around $300.
  21. I feel ya on the broke college thing. Many of us have done it. On the Mosin, get one as soon as you can. You will never regret that purchase. Good luck in school.
