  1. How in the world can you write for 2 miles over? I have never written for less than 10 over. I write about 10 warnings for every ticket I write. I only have 4 tickets this month, and I only wrote them because they had other things besides speeding going on. I always write for financial responsibility.
  2. I am pretty flexible on the weekends.
  3. God bless the crew of the wing that went down outside Brownsville this morning. Such a tragedy. Myself and all of the Police Officers, EMTs, and Emergency Dept personnel that worked with them will miss them greatly.
  4. I have had both, the 642 is way easier to carry.

    Marswolf Tribute

    RIP Mars. Nice post.
  6. As in the pharmacy? The cloverleaf shopping center is on Summer Ave, not the safest place to be. There are much worse areas though.
  7. Memphis in May is held at Tom Lee PARK, carry is not allowed.
  8. I needed a small thing done to a shotgun barrel several years ago. I took it to Guns & Ammo and 4-6 months later he had not even touched it. I ended up taking it home and not messing with it.
  9. I'm about your size, and I can carry a Glock 23 in an MTAC under a t-shirt without printing.
  10. I got my permit at Top Brass 11 years ago. I don't get out that way much, but I enjoy going there. The building is a little scary, but it kinda reminds me of my house when the wife goes out of town for a week. The staff is about the nicest you will find anywhere. They have traded me even on magazines and holsters before, you won't find that many places.
  11. Wow, that reporter is scary looking. I was thinking it was a guy at first.
  12. No one is going to mess with you if it is a two or three times a year thing. All you have to say is that you were planning on taking it to the car wash or something car related. That law is to prevent the other people in Shelby County from putting them on a beater cutlass and never paying for tags again. I have antique tags on my 1960 F100. I drive it once or twice a year.
  13. You have to accept the commute. I live in Fayette County, but my wife and I both work in Memphis.
  14. In my opinion, the trigger on my kimber customII is much better than the springfield trigger. The Kimber is my most accurate pistol.
  15. I have no worries about it going off. I don't see how it could. And yes it is w/o external safety. The only gun I own that has one is a 1911.
  16. I have a 3953. Awesome gun, but the trigger pull is a little heavy. Once you get used to it, it isn't bad.
  17. 61 tire is great! My Smith was my uncle's Father in law. My family has been going there for years. I still remember the deals that Corbitt would give me when I was a poor teenager. Good people.
  18. Please take the badge away from your profile if you are going to post incorrect information. I sometimes wonder if people click that box without reading what they are clicking. I have friends on here that can verify my status, and I don't post law related answers unless I have TCA references to post with it.
  19. They are hard core! I don't stop anyone for less than 10 over, and then they will probably just get a warning.
  20. The best plan would be to meet at a police station/Sheriff's office to do the transaction. I cannot run a serial number unless a gun is in front of me, so just having the serial number won't get you too far.
  21. 870, purchased at Sports Unlimited when I turned 18.
  22. If you don't want to order one and wait forever, the Galco Concealable is awesome. It is a little expensive but worth it.
  23. Time to take up a collection for his legal fees?
  24. I salute those who gave. I am proud to be a member of this site.
