  1. I am with you on that. This woman is awesome. Pro-Life and Pro-Gun. She has been a Lifetime Member of the NRA for a long time and she hunts. I am sick of the media whining about her experience. She was head of the energy committee for Alaska, a mayor, and governor for 2 years. Compared to Obama she has a lifetime of experience.
  2. Thanks

  4. I have an XD subcompact 40 and love it. If you have the normal clip it gives you 9 + 1 in the hole. If you put the extended clip in you get 12 + 1. I usually carry with the regular clip in the gun and the extended in my pocket.
  5. Deadwood was a great show. it was cancelled 2 years ago. There was talk of a movie that would continue and end the story, but it never happened.
  6. 24 - Lots of Guns Prison Break - More Guns The Shield - Tons of Guns Burn Notice - he carries my Sig P226 Terminator - Robots with Guns The Unit - Really sweet guns Rescue Me - Fire Heroes - Who needs a gun when you can shoot stuff out of your hands and teleport Upcoming Shows I am interested in - Sons of Anarchy - They are gun runners My own Worst Enemy - Christian Slater with more sweet guns
  7. Before I bought my last pistol, which I wanted in 9mm, I started researching what I consider the real "professionals" use. I started with looking at the Navy Seals and then began reading on other Special Forces around the world and 2 guns came up pretty consistently. In .45, it was different variations of the HK 45 USP (Seals - MK.23). In 9mm, it was the Sig P226. So, since I was looking for a 9mm, I bought the Sig P226. I have actually been looking at the HK, the only problem I have is that it is a little bulky for me. But I would consider it a superior firearm anyday. Of course, it would never replace my 1911. Sorry to say, but I never saw Glock as being used by anyone serious (except LE looking for low-bid which i do not consider serious). That being said, other than the Croatian military and LE, I did not really see the XD being used either. But, I am not going to get rid of my XDs. Hk and Sig are not the end all, but the people who are the "extreme" users all trust their lives to them on a regular basis, so I would not knock them or even try to compare a Glock or an XD to them. They are in total different classes.
  8. Are you trying to say something here? Is that way all the gangsters carry them?
  9. Funny. Although I did sell one of my XD's, but that was only to buy an XDM. I am not saying Glocks are bad, they just aren't for me.
  10. This post could start another Civil War. IMO, I would stick with the 1911 (or trade the glock for an XD). The argument from the Glock crowd is that you should keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire which is fine, but there is no forgiveness for accidently snagging the trigger on anything. I carry an XD because I prefer having the grip safety, which if you are 1911 guy you are used to it, but it means that the gun will not fire unless I have my hand around the grip and I am pulling the trigger.
  11. I always carry with one in the chamber, and i carry a knife with the blade attached (for those commmie establishments where we can not go in fully protected). Now, my gun in the glove box (back up in case the other runs out of ammo) does not have one in the chamber, but if i am pulling it out i can easily rack it as I pull.
  12. This just proves that Scientology kills. Hayes has been having problems for about a year, but Scientology would not allow for him to get the required help. Also, they demanded he quit his job, but they still demanded him to pay his dues.
  13. I always carry to church. If someone walks in the door with an AK, I shoot them. End of story.
  14. What’s the difference between a dead possum in the road and a dead politician in the road? There are skid marks in front of the possum.
  15. I may try to sneak out and join you. I have a couple rifles that have not been shot in a while that need some love. Let me know what time you are headed out there and I will try to sneak out.
  16. 16 in the clip and one in the hole
  17. Owl Hollow allows unlimited guests. The guest rate is $5 per guest.
  18. I am a member and would love to be there. The only Saturday's this month I can do though are the 23rd and the 30th. So if either of those days work for everyone else that would be great.
  19. Congrats on the XDM. I bought one from Guns & Leather about a month ago and love it. I have also been impressed with the accuracy out of mine. It did take me about 200 rounds to break it in and get consistant accuracy, but after that point it was golden. It is the first piece of plastic that I have owned that even begins to rival my 1911 and Sig in accuracy. It is definitely outshooting the XD Tactical 40 that I used to have.
  20. I am with you on that, when is the first game on tv here?
  21. i think triple's girls beat the hell out of all of these chicks.
  22. Only if the barrel is less than 40 inches.
  23. Amen to that. And then on the next day, they realized the XD was just coming up a little short, so they created XDM.
  24. The only opposition I have to the indoor ranges is that it hard to visit. When we went to OnTarget last time we were having to yell and then even at that could not barely hear each other.
  25. I am excited because I a going to finally watch it in about 6 hours.
