Remember on all HDTVs is the repair costs will be almost as much as a new TV. That to me makes them throwaways. I bought a Samsung plasma 50" 3 years ago and love it. Plasmas are cheaper than LCD or LED and have been on the market far longer than the other two technologies. Plasmas use more electricity and are can double as a heater in the winter. I'd look at all 3 technologies. Remember most of the best 50" plasmas sell for around $800. Good luck.

I've been into the store quite a few times and they are definitely a friendly bunch. David and staff do an excellent job.

I have a XD 45 and love it. I'd also tell you to look at the FNP 45.

The killing of Osama with a huge bump for Obama. The economy is still on the brink of another major failure. Inflation is through the roof and unemployment numbers are climbing every week. We need a strong conservative to speak out and attack Obama's weak points--maybe Jim Demint will throw his hat into the ring.

My local Wal-Mart has always had a 6 box limit sign. I've never tried to purchase more than that anyway.

XDs are selling for $50 less than XDMs on gunbroker. The XD line seems to have lost some of its popularity.

I remember when Wally World used to sell pistols. My local store has always carried rifles and shotguns. The ammo supply there also seems to be on the upswing.

I own 2 Xds, one 9 and one 45. Other than a trigger kit, the guns are pretty good stock. You'd end up with a $950 dollar XDm, and they're not worth that to me. I'd take your new HK for that!!!

The real problem for the Republicans is they don't have a leader. The old style Republican leaders are scared to openly challenge Obama on his background much less the issues. It's far too early to write off the Republicans, but someone needs to step up and grow a set. This person needs to take strong stances and NOT cave in to the left. Otherwise, we're doomed.

I was shocked to see Federal 45 ammo at Wally World. I had to get a few boxes. 45 has been scarce since the recall. They do occassionally have 100 rounds of 9mm in WWB for 19 bucks. I get that when I can too.

You can sometimes get ammo @ Academy Sports for 6.99 per 50. It's their Monarch brand steel cased ammo. Normal price is 9.99.
