  1. No one ever saw Bill Clinton inhale, and he went to Oxford!!!
  2. I voted for Perot in 1992 because he was right then, and it's still right today. Unfortunately, I don't think the average American citizen can do anything about our current problems. There has to be a massive overhaul in our government. There are too many differing opinions in our country for this to happen. It's not a Democrat/Republican thing either.
  3. Is this too much??? Mossberg 57110 505AF 20 3IN 20 ACCU WOOD $299.00 SHIPS FREE
  4. I've had both Direct and Dish. I now have Dish. I really don't think there's much difference between the two. I can tell you the CEO of Dish is a UT grad if that makes any difference. I think both are more expensive than they should be. 100+ channels and there still isn't anything worth watching most nights.
  5. You're a d*ckhead!!!
  6. Seeing how it's basically a two man race for the Republicans now, then you're saying you either support Obama or won't vote at all? Ron Paul has no realistic chance at the nomination unless he runs as an Independent. If he does, he will most certainly take votes away from the Republican nominee, thus hurting our nation even further. Rick Santorum is still a dark horse for the nomination, but he'll need to win Florida.
  7. This company provides the cheapest life insurance I have ever found. I heard about them from David Givens, who started a similar program to Dave Ramsey's but far earlier. The company is ATAP Insurance Clearinghouse. Phone number is 1-800-522-2827. I got a 20 year term $250,000 policy at 50 yrs old for less than $650/year. I've had a policy through them for 20+ years.
  8. I might be mistaken, but I think the shale oil and largest low sulfur coal deposits were taken off the market by the Clinton administration.
  9. My son is 2 years out of chemo and he's completing his third year at UT. I agree it was probably a bad manager, but I will not change my mind. I've never gone into a Kroger store since and won't ever again. Publix, Sam's Club, and Wal-Mart is where I buy my food.
  10. I will never shop at Kroger and encourage others to do so as well. My reason is very simple. My oldest son used to work there and had to miss a day of work to have a biopsy done to determine if he had cancer (he did). He spoke with the store manager to explain he just had a biopsy done and would need a couple of days to recover. He was fired during that phone conversation. Just imagine as a 19 year old, the same day you're diagnosed with cancer, your boss fires you because you HAVE cancer. Those bastards can rot in hell and I'll starve before they EVER get a penny from me!!! Please shop anywhere but Kroger.
  11. Does Obama's rejection of the pipeline really surprise anyone? The environmental extremists won't be happy until we're all walking and reading by candlelight.
  12. A lot of speeding tickets (going 5-10 MPH over limit) are nothing more than another "tax" on otherwise law abiding citizens. I've had my fair share of speeding tickets and love the way officers like to hide at the bottom of a hill. It's extremely hard to drive 30 MPH down some of the hills in our great state.
  13. You must post pics, or you're pulling our legs!!!
  14. I love reading your posts especially on the technology of the AR platform. You should write a book!!!
  15. Southland starts up tonight. I've watched it for a couple of years and like it.
  16. Try using a saline nasal spray. It's basically salt water and is available from any store for a couple of dollars. It will help. I'd also check with an ENT doctor. You could have nasal polyps that can be removed with a laser.
  17. I bought this AR recently and think it might work, but it is a 16" barrel. Go to JoeBobOutfitters.com and use the discount code TGO and an additional 5%.
  18. The environmentalist would have to agree to have companies actually cut down trees for this theory to work. Most logging has been shut down.
  19. My first job in 1981 was working on computers used in oil exploration. There were over 770 crews working in the US both offshore and on. When I was laid off in 1985 there was less than 20. The government decided to import oil rather than drill. There's also a theory in cyberspace in order to get OPEC back to the bargaining table in the 70s, they were told buy our debt and we'll buy your oil. Makes sense now.
  20. The Hermitage Wally World sells a Sig Model 400 Hunter edition with a 20" barrell, and a Bushmaster with 16" barrell. They also have a Sig 522 for $497, I think.
  21. Go ahead and order one. JoeBob will fix ya up!!!
  22. The last major refinery was built in 1977. There is a group that has been trying to get one built in Arizona (I think) for over 15 years. The plans and site are all approved, yet environmentalist won't allow it to be completed. Our existing refineries might be "old", but are not lacking in modern technology needed to run the plants at maximum efficiency. The amount of available crude in the US would stagger the average citizen. We don't pump it for mainly because of the environmental movement. We have the largest coal reserves, but can't mine it. We can't build anymore dams because it might hurt a fish. We can't build any more nuclear plants because it raises the temperature of the rivers damaging fishing. Basically, we're screwed!!!
  23. All I can say is "WOLVERINES"!!!! I can't believe no one posted that. I must be getting old.
  24. He'll probably be hooked after the first magazine!!! Nothing will put a smile on your face like a 45!!!
