Check with The Safe House. They're here in Nashville.

Maybe the seller just tired of shooting himself in the ass. Couldn't resist.

1. There is more oil in America than any other country in the world. Trust me, I used to work in oil exploration. 2. There hasn't been a new refinery built in America for over 20 years. We need to build a few for the increased need for gasoline, but no one wants a ticking time bomb in their neighborhood. 3. Try driving around with three children in an Accord or Camry, when your smallest child is 5'10" tall. My three kids weigh almost 600 lbs total. 4. Cash for clunkers--remember that??? Did you like the tax hit? 5. Obama's wrong on so many fronts, we can't count that high.

I agree, and if you read Broke you'll see Beck does too.
-
I've listened to Beck on both radio and TV. On some topics, it's overkill, but I don't think you can say he doesn't use facts to back up some of his opinions. Read his book Broke. I found it very informative and he blame both parties for the debt problems.

I think the whole debate of synthetic lubricants versus conventional is illogical. I put over 408,000 miles on a gasoline engine using standard Pennzoil. The engine never used a drop of oil between oil changes around 4-5K miles. As far as gun lube, I'd buy a tube of grease and lube the hell out of it.

Mine is a target pistol with a 3.5 lb trigger. I'm extremely pleased with the gun.

I have two service model XDs in 9 and 45. I think you'll live yours. I've notice some XDms on gunbroker for $500 NIB, and they're talking to me real bad. If it were for paying college tuition for two kids, they'd be mine!!!

I love my XD 45. It's sweet. Congrats.

? about the illegal alien situation
JPR1959 replied to Links2k's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Good question. If our politicians don't do anything about illegal immigration, our nation will not have the current laws we enjoy. Our nation will cease to exist, at least in it's current form. I would guess you would end up with even more corruption as witnessed by the Central and South American countries. I doubt if I'll live long enough to see it happen, but my children might. -
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 took most of the enforcement of illegal immigrants from the states to a federal level. One thing that stood out in that legislation is companies started hiring subcontractors. This let the companies off the hook by using subcontractors because they were not employees. We're screwed!!!

Welcome neighbor. I live in Hermitage too.

Excellent post. Both political parties want them here. Nothing makes my skin crawl more than to say it's because of how poor other nations are. They should try to raise their standards in their own country, not lower ours!!! The immigration laws were changed in the 80's taking away the state's right of enforcement and giving it to the US government. States used to be able to set fines for the hiring of illegals, but no longer.

I shot a 9 mm Pro last weekend. I think you'll be wasting your money on a trigger kit for it. It was pretty nice.
-
Why does the M&P Pro ($669) have a lower MSRP than a 9L ($758)?
-
I got to shoot a M&P Pro w/5 inch barrel in 9 mm last weekend. It's trigger was sweet. I'd love to have one, but I have 2 service model XDs. I really want a XD 45 tactical.
-
The tag said M+P not SD. I'll bet it was a weekly special.
-
Academy Sports had a M&P 40 for $399 on Saturday. I was shocked at that price.

My XD 45 was my first handgun and it's a great shooter. Mike, anytime you want to try it, let me know. I'd love to try your CZ!!!

One reason why our gas will continue to rise
JPR1959 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I looked it up just to be sure. This is an explanation of a way to measure inflation. Core price indices: because food and oil prices can change quickly due to changes in supply and demand conditions in the food and oil markets, it can be difficult to detect the long run trend in price levels when those prices are included. Therefore most statistical agencies also report a measure of 'core inflation', which removes the most volatile components (such as food and oil) from a broad price index like the CPI. Because core inflation is less affected by short run supply and demand conditions in specific markets, central banks rely on it to better measure the inflationary impact of current monetary policy. -
Our senators and representatives don't care about our views. Look at Alexander's stance on illegal immigration. He's playing both sides. We are viewed as being too dense to grasp the problems of our society.

I've voted Republican my whole life except in 1992 and I voted for Ross Perot. He was right in so many ways about so many things. I wish the US could start over, but too many people want their piece of the pie without having to do anything for it. Did you know that energy and food costs are NOT factored into the government's inflation rate? Did you ever wonder why? My measly paychecks don't go nearly as far as they used to. Couple that with the fact I make half of what I used to, life's tough!!! -
I would not opt for laser surgery. If it is done incorrectly, then it's a trip to Dr. Ming Wang to see if he can fix you. I've been told laser surgery is only good for ten years and will not reduce your need for reading glasses. As we age, our lenses in our eyes gets more rigid and will not focus up close as well as our younger days. Try buying a couple of cheap reading glasses at Wal-Mart. It sucks getting old.
