Should have take a picture, but I was too busy bandaging him up!

Just checking it, it wasn't me either. If you had not said Ruger Mark II, I would have assumed he did like the hotdog in the video. A good example and reason for those learning to shoot learn the correct way to hold any firearm. -

Dolomite, maybe it was a gun from Mexico as well. Just hope it was not a Failed and Disastrous gun. -

RIP for the dead, prayers for the injured. Hate to point this out but anti gun laws or gunbusters could not have stopped this. We all know it. The guy kicked in the emergency exit to enter it sounds like. Had about 3 guns, bulletproof(resistance) vest. He/She was there by no accident. I am going to work, I know there is going to be horrible spin on this by the time I leave work. Will probably have someone telling us he/she was a good kid. -
Just remember one big tip, among what others have said. Make sure you don't have any lose ammo floating around your bags. As I have read in other threads, may not be a good idea to use your range bag as carry on. Those scarey bullets with out a gun also get people's upset. Might even get you a free medical check under the new program TSA medical exam.

Channel 5 Nashville Story To Air Thursday

$700K of taxpayer $ I think we need to go get our moneys worth. That should be worth at least a 5 year unlimited pass. -
Because you are smart.

Had that a few times as well. No matter how good we could get the dogs cleaned, to the point we thought we where done, once they got wet again (outside rain) the smell would come back. It will eventually go away.

WTF is wrong here. Lets see, family moves for work, comes back and finds 2 people have moved into their home. A judge signed a temporary restraining order against the home owners. http://gma.yahoo.com...news-money.html I guess the locks have probably been changed. so I guess superglue the lock and have a friendly cop watch for occupies them to break in. We are not required in this country yet to carry ID at all times. However back to the original question If you are driving you had better have it, at least in this state. Sure they can look it up, but like our HCP, you better have it on your person. From what I understand that is Standard Ops in Oak Ridge to check everyone in the car. I to a point disagree with it, a the passenger was not driving. kind of like seeing someone walking down the sidewake and checking the immigration status. Unless person A is breaking a law, should not check for another that you are not certain about. On the flip side of the coin, they do sometimes find people that have warrants for arrest by checking the non driver. However, it probably boils down to everyone in the vehicle is considered lawfully detained because of the traffic stop. My bigger question is, if they disarm you and then run the serial of your gun, that seems to be a round about way on the 4th amendment. Note that hasn't happened to me, but I have in the past been checked just being a passenger.

I think Jesse and Al can handle it. Then we will know who the suspects are.

You are correct, the closet the media got was "The chain-snatcher and his pal, believed to both be about 16 or 17," I have to keep editing myself at this point. Time to stop.

Yup. I also noticed they planned this really well by removing the car's tag (if it had one). Not even going to link the video, but "Looking like a Fool with your Pants on the Ground" says it all.

Is anyone intrested in learning to make their own?
vontar replied to Spots's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Spot, I am not in the knife selection much I have read your thread in general. When you have another get together send me a PM and I will try to make it. I might even talk to you about me bringing some metal to work with. -
Just wondering if there is anyone near Oak Ridge that works with damascus steel? I have an idea, it might be a bit silly but I think I want to try it. I just found out that SMKW's sells some rare damascus. I didn't buy it but some wheels are spinning in my head. I have never worked with metal of any kind so I didn't want to just try to jump in over my head.

if available on the said day I am interested. I live in Oak Ridge. Just today I had an idea of something I want to make but not sure where to start. About to make a post about my idea. -
I approve I do.

I have never had trouble with best buy, been in a few times lately replacing cell phones and they just ask if I found everything ok as I left. This was Best Buy in turkey creek

Ouch, heal up quick. With your History, lets hope you heal it before you abuse it again. Remember Scars are tattoos with better stories.

That is good. It is good to get away and recharge. -
One type of collection you might want to watch for is family heirloom collections. They all have good stories behind them. Some people have guns that have been passed down their family for generations. Example I currently have my Dad's 1933 Remington .22. I believe If I remember correctly Dad was the 3rd owner, which will later make me the 4th. Dad loves that gun, he carried it for years hunting as a kid.

New story about when Remington was in the crosshairs
vontar replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I am glad this was reposted. I had not seen it, and I watched the entire video. Caster also hits the nail on the head as well. I know one thing, when I am in the market for rifle, the Rem. 700 is going to be looked at. I own a couple Remington's and could always add more.
