  1.   That is primary, but I would also add that as long as the protest does not interfere with other people just going about their daily business.
  2. I hope GZ sues the **** out of everyone, gets rich, and moves out of the country to enjoy the good life.  Even with him being found innocent, his life as he knew it is now over; it will never be the same.   I was just reading about all the protests regarding the verdict.  I find their behavior repugnant, and as I stated long ago, the only justice they ever sought was social justice.
  3. I have been doing a bunch of outside work around the house this weekend.  I have been trimming hedges, hauling off dead branches, weed pulling, mowing grass, etc...  I have been surprised that I have found all of it enjoyable, even mowing the grass (outside of the hill area, that is still a bitch).   Anyway, I was working in the flower bed this afternoon pulling weeds.  After a couple of hours of working my way down the flower bed, I started getting bites on my hands and arms.  I was only half way paying attention, as I was listening to music as I was pulling weeds.  Within about 30 seconds I noticed all of these bites were burning like hell.  After about the 7th or 8th bite I got a glimpse of what was biting me.  It was an ant.  I didn't think anything of it as I was knocking off all the ants from my hands, arms, and pants.  I finally glanced around to my right and noticed that I was sitting right next to what looked like an ant mound.  To investigate I hit it with my hand and thousands of ants started pouring out.  I never knew I could move off my ass so quickly as I got out of the flower bed.  I had a fire ant mound in the flower bed.  It finally dawned on me why the previous owners left me a bag of fire ant mound killer.   I didn't bother using the fire ant mound killer as it supposed to take 24 hours as I have something much better.  I made an emulsion containing 10% permethrin and grabbed my shovel.  I sprayed the mound with the emulsion, and was using the shovel to break up the mound.  I sprayed some more, and within about 20 minutes the mound was dead.  I guess being aware of your surroundings applies to all situations cause within another minute or two I would have plopped my ass down right on top of that mound.
  4. I am certain Reverend AL is apoplectic right about now.  I will sleep well tonight knowing how ticked off he is.  Perhaps we will be blessed with more pearls of wisdom from Sharpton over the next couple of days.   "But resist, we much… we must… and we will much… about… that… be committed.”
  5. Good decision.  Personally, I don't think it should have ever made it to trial.   The question now is what are you guys going to find to debate and create 1000 post threads?  ;)
  6. You have acquired numerous knives very quickly.  You have definitely been bitten by the knife bug.  :)
  7. As far as Rubio goes, I would tell him he might as well seek contributions south of the border.
  8. I agree. I don't see what the fuss is all about. We can always print more. ;)
  9. There is one thing, outside of the price, that I do not like about the Q-36. I do not like the flared out bolsters. A friend of mine was talking to me today about that very thing. We were both in agreement that ZT did it right by giving their knife a uniform symetrical look. Unless I got one in a lottery and paid his price, I will probably pass on a real Q-36. There are several other knives I have my eye on. The same friend was showing me some of his Burch knives, and I really like those as well as the Medford Praetorian.
  10. I would wait on getting a Hinderer. There are a lot of custom makers out there that are making a name for themselves, and you have companies like ZT making fantastic knives. All this has been dropping the secondary market price for XMs. They are still high, but not as much as they once were. They may drop a little more. RJ Martins OTH are incredibly expensive.
  11. Once again, Zero Tolerance has impressed the hell out of me with one of their latest offerings, the ZT-0600. The ZT-0600 is a collaboration between RJ Martin and Zero Tolerance, and it is based on RJ Martin's Q-36. The ZT-0600 won Blade's 2012 Collaboration of the Year award. Specifications: Overall Length: 9.50" Blade Length: 4.25" Blade Thickness: 0.19" Blade Material: B75P Blade Style: Drop Point Blade Grind: Hollow Blade Finish: Stonewash Edge Type: Plain Handle Length: 5.25" Handle Thickness: 0.62" Handle Material: Titanium, Carbon Fiber Weight: 206.22 grams This is one badass knife. While the ZT-0560/0561s were great, they pale in comparison to the ZT-0600. In my opinion, this is the must have knife (outside of the ZT-0777) of the ZT line. It is beefy, scary sharp, and the flipper is really good. Downsides: 1. The price is around $350 - 400. That is very steep for most people, but considering what you are getting and the price of a RJ Martin Q-36, it is a real bargain. While I could be mistaken, I am certain that the ZT-0600 wasn't manufactured for a broad group of people. I believe this knife was marketed for three groups: Collectors Q-36 owners who would like to carry something similar to their Q-36, but that is significantly cheaper People who would like to have a Q-36, but can't really afford to pay >$1k for one Due to the quality of this knife and soon to be popularity, I would bet that Kershaw will produce similar knives at a reduced cost so everyone can enjoy a well designed blade. 2. I wish the flipper had some jimping. I believe once the knife is wet the flipper would be a little more difficult to operate considering it is polished smooth. Anyway, enough of my ramblings, here are the pics. Enjoy.
  12. It is always good to have some Asian in your diet.
  13. Very very nice Fred. I thought some of my Reeves fixed blades were beasts, but in comparison to your's, mine look like knives for pussies.
  14. If ARs are weapons of war, as he stated, then who is he at war with? The answer has to be us, civilians. I agree, people with his mindset are the enemy.
  15. I sometimes wonder if it would be better that the activists/thugs bite off more than they could chew and everyday average folks respond back forcefully.  The country has been piling up trash for years, and I know there are a lot of individuals that don't mind taking out the garbage. :)
  16. I would be seriously ticked if they started burning down their neighborhoods considering taxpayers are the ones who provided that housing.
  17.   No, not really.  It is just a matter of how long it would take.  Granting amnesty would sure speed up the process.
  18. If the House ends up compromising you can kiss your guns rights away in a couple of years.
  19. Yep, they are ugly scales.  I had to change mine.  http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/33037-zt0550-hinderer/?hl=0550#entry679638
  20.   You are exactly correct.  About a month ago my 78 year old mother locked herself out of the car while she was in north Alabama.  She called the police and asked if they could send someone to help her.  They refused and told her to call a locksmith.  She was pretty upset, and I had to explain to her that society has become so litigious, that it has forced police officers from doing things that were once commonplace.  It is a shame that dickheads in society who are looking to make a quick and easy buck have ruined it for the rest of us.
  21.   No, it has been around for decades.  It is incredibly inexpensive (40 lb of a 30% solution would cost about $5.00 to make from sulfamic acid and ammonium hydroxide).  Don't mistake this for ammonium sulfate, which is ammonium hydroxide and sulfuric acid.
  22.   Dude, lighten up a lot.  ;) usually indicates someone is not serious, although I wasn't joking about the effectiveness of ammonium sulfamate; it will kill it all.   If an individual lives within the confines of a HOA, then they are obligated to maintain their property as the rules dictate.  If they do not want to comply, have their grass cut for them and stick them with the bill.  The police should never be involved.   If you don't live under a HOA, then do as you please outside of burning fields or something crazy that could endanger someone else's property.  An individual could plant fields of marijuana for all I care.
  23. Your neighbor won't cut their grass?  That is fine cause I can take care of that.  Spray their lawn with a 30% ammonium sulfamate solution and it will kill it all (weeds, grass, everything) within 2 days and it will stay dead for quite some time. ;)
