Here's the new XD 45 compact. I bought it from Frank (ETS Inc) and I couldn't be happier (with the gun or the service). I put a box through it about 30 minutes after I bought it but then the rain came. Hopefully I'll get to break it in some more tomorrow. On a side note Frank is a great guy to work with. I took my HCP class from Frank at ASP in Joelton, TN. I bought a surefire from him and now my XD. I know that Frank will continue to get my business because he is a great guy.

thanks to TN's laws restriction the sale of liquor on sundays before noon. does that mean you can carry in restaurants that normaly sell alcohol as long as you are out before noon?

There is no such thing as over prepared, just the right situation hasn't arisen yet. And I hope one day they find out tin foil hats do block/protect you from something.

I've taken some Judo before, it is the sport version of ju-jitsu. I enjoyed it because it is a sport and you can go full out against each other and not have to worry hurting your sparring partner but at the same time it is still a martial art and can be used in self defense. If your thinking about general training not just for defensive purposes, I'd take a first aid course.

I disagree, they won't outlaw guns until they are ready to come after us. They know how hot of a topic this is, and that they will only get one chance at it.
