  1. Welcome
  2. Where the trouble is going to come in is when the manager tells you to take your firearm back to the car instead actually asking you to leave.
  3. Already a thread on the subject. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/2nd-amendment-issues/24291-atf-kills-tn-firearms-freedom-act.html
  4. Sat 9-5 Sun 10-4 ...I think.
  5. It's amazing how often this seems to come up.... Government property (except federal) is not automatically off-limits. State, County and City properties must post just like any other private property.
  6. Why tell them you have a gun?
  7. All y'all that like to play with photshop etc.... why don't you put the name of the person on or near them on the picture. The usernames are great....but I can only pick out 3-4 by looking at the pic.
  8. It may not take s**t off since the subject is full of it already...
  9. Probably not going to give an official answer until they either figure out a way around it, or that they can't get around it. If they ever give one that is....
  10. How do you really feel about him Dave?.....lol
  11. Would like to...but no funds...so no real need to go and drool...lol
  12. Must just be some code that Google uses...
  13. Welcome
  14. I'm going to say an ex parte order doens't count as far as turning in your firearms. US CODE: Title 18,922. Unlawful acts sub-part (A) says if it was issued after the person received notice and had a chance to participate.
  15. Here it is...Public Chapter 455 So one question now is, does an Ex Parte Order of Protection fully comply with 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(8) or only one issued after the hearing that both parties are at?
  16. You're right...I had forgot about that. But didn't the final version allow you to give them to anyone that could legally posses them and not just to LE?
  17. IMO it's not legal, but I do think it is close enough for a LEO and Judge....especially right now.
  18. Name: Logan's Roadhouse Address: Carriage House City: Jackson, TN Details: No posting. Spoke with the manager on duty. Was not aware of change in the law. See more in this post http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/23924-discussion-posted-restaurants-2.html#post321325
  19. I went to Logan's Roadhouse in Jackson tonight. No posting. Asked to talk with the manager after the meal, Said, "I guess you are aware, if you watch TV or read the paper, of the new law that went into effect Tuesday?" He said, "No." Can you believe it?! I almost didn't know what to say next....I was all ready for him to say Yes...then I was going to thank them for not posting etc.... but then I thought well...maybe they haven't posted because they didn't know. No granted the manager on duty at 6:00pm on a Thursday is not the decision making guy, but he said it had never been discussed that he knew of. So I said that I hope they don't post in the future and so on. Found out he has a HCP as well and we had a good talk. Gave him TGO url and hopefully he'll join here...and be able to stay more up to date...
  20. The only thing I made have said different is, voicing your opposition to the resolution banning handgun carry, since that is what the proposed resolution would do. Saying you are for the park carry law, could be interpreted by some to mean you are in favor of the resolution to prohibit carry. However if they read the rest of the message it should be clear of course, but that opening line is what gets the readers attention.
  21. LOL...Congress doesn't have to have control over group for members of that group to respect/honor the constitution.
  22. The Classified System maybe standard on some boards, but it is not the primary purpose of this board. Also it is intended for the active users of the board. A place where those who know each other through interaction on the board, can buy/sell/trade items between themselves. The posting/time requirements are fairly minimal, if you haven't/can't meet them then I really don't think you are an active member of the board. As far as becoming a benefactor and being allowed access, at the very least it shows a commitment to the board. I guess for some money is easier to commit than time. So that route was added for those. But maybe if you would have got the PM's from members who had transactions go bad from new and/or relatively unknown users of the board you might feel slightly different. It's not like there aren't other avenues to sell firearms if that is your main intention...
