  1. Nice looking gun. I'm impressed she went and bought it on her own. Wish I could get my wife to that point.

  7. Just and update on a previous post about the reloading class at Lebanon gun shop. I attended the class Monday and Tuesday night of this week. I am new to reloading and found the class to be extremly informative and helpful. The class was limited to 4 people so everyone could ask questions and get individual help as needed.   David was a very good teacher and seemed sincerely concerned that each person understood every aspect of the class. David not only taught the mechanics of reloading but explained headspacing, ballistic coefficient, etc. David seemed very knowledgable and willing to share what he knew in an easy to understand way. He was also willing to stay after the stopping time and answer other questions we had concerning shooting in general.   I would highly recommend any person new to reloading to consider taking this class. Even after reading and watching videos on the process, it was a great help to have David there to answer questions and point out better ways to do the process. I would say that as a new reloader the most important thing i gained from this class was the CONFIDENCE to get started in the process. Thanks David!!
  8.   Brother your not the only one that has learned a lesson. when this is over i'll never get caught with my pants down again

    Glocks

very nice collection. the only thing better than 3 glocks is 4 glocks.
  10. there is no end to how the liberals will change the facts to promote thier agenda here are 3 examples:   1) it sounds The president of the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs' Association, Roy Felber, said  like a call to vigilantism.     a) the sheriff is talking about defending oneself while in fear for your life -- not seeking vengence   2) Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett's office released a statement criticizing the ad: "Apparently Sheriff David Clarke is auditioning for the next Dirty Harry movie."      a) if you cant argue against the facts make personal attacks ---- make the 2A supporters sound like war mongers      b) by the way watching dirty harry as i type this   3) Jeri Bonavia, executive director of Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort, said Clarke took a dangerous position with his ad. She pointed to the case of George Zimmerman,      a) the sheriff said nothing about going out looking for trouble. only defending oneself in ones lawful domain   the liberals are so blinded by their preconcieved biases they cant even discuss proposals like this on its own merits. i think this highlights the nature of the fight ahead of us.   one last thought: with the cutbacks in his department i wonder if the sheriff may have had a alternative motive for this ad. ( just asking )
  11. WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama issued a strong warning to Republicans on Monday that he will not negotiate over the debt ceiling -------  from huff post politics Jan. 27,2013 Alot of people arent pleased. Welcome the club prez
  12. great looking guns. like the black and gray on the ar. i have a 590a1 with ghost rings and highly recommend it. it would look great with what you have
  13. I would suggest you decide where you want to take the class and give them a call. They will advise you on the details of the class. Try to get with someone that can go over the shooting fundamentals with you in advance. you can even shoot the test in advance to build your confidence. If you do go to guns and leather try to get there as early as possible as they do the shoot in the order you sign in.It can be a long day if your towards the end.   Glad your getting back into shooting. if i may ask what motivated your return after a decade of absence?
  14. Good to hear. at my age dont know if i have time for a long drawn out break in process. its not a competition rifle so i've cleaned it and will take out to sight in. just interested in learning how to shoot longer ranges. i'm sure the rifle will be far more accurate than my abilities will allow for. thanks for the input
  15.   cash sales supporting local busniess. no shipping charges, have the product the day we want it,shoot the bull with sales people and friends in the store and compare new products side by side. sounds like cash sales are a winning proposition to me
  16. if that dont get you fired up nothing will.
  17.   NEWS FLASH; THIS JUST IN -- these are not normal times. Do you really think these business want to provide poor customer service? Perhaps the dip in their normal service levels may have something to do with all the panic buying going on now. Visit the websites of Glockmeister,JP Rifles,Midway ect. and they will explain how they are doing the best they can. Yes i want to order 15 mags for each of my 8 Glocks but that is just not possible now. I also understand its not the fault of Glock,Glockmeister or any other vendor i normally use. We can stand around and complain about the current state of affairs or try to be more understanding and present a unified front to those who seek our down fall.   Please dont take this as a personal attack, thats not my intent, but we can nip at each others heels like a pack of dogs,or we can focus our efforts on ways to over come the liberals who have created this situation.
  18. seems to me we're a little short on facts here. i for one would like to read both copies before i spend a lot of effort getting po'ed. based on what i read sounds like a disagreement between an established liberal and a future liberal. our righteous indignation might be better directed elsewhere
  19.  And point two is to learn to properly clean your gun and get the right tools which is more important especially if it sits for a while in the safe between shoots.   thanks for the input. i know how to properly clean the gun just was not comfortable doing a through cleaning at a range. not sure how that would go over. have not used bore snakes before just thought it might clean well enough without all the other cleaning issues. thanks for the video.
