  1. that is one sweet setup. just looked at your profile. please post a pic of the holster for carry gun #2.
  2. WOE IS ME!!!!! it' s really bad here at the glock 55 household. dont have as much as i want, can find as much as i need and couldn't afford what i would like to have.  yet in these dark and trying times i am still able to find enough available to keep the stock pile growing toward acceptable levels. have been focusing on getting my reloading supplies up to par incase loaded ammo becomes any harder to find. with some of the stories i've read about online sells i'm about afraid to try that route, don't want money tied up on orders that don't get shipped. one thing is for sure if this crisis ever passes i'll NEVER gets caught with my ammo pants down again. to sum up i suppose the real question is: IS THERE SUCH A THING AS ENOUGH AMMO
  3. The two best things a man can own: a good dog and a good gun
  4.   ditos on this recommendation. i advise the following equation to new buyers:    several gun rentals + buyer perception = glock 19. its that easy   on a more serious note i advise to following to people looking to buy their first fire arm: 1) DON'T buy a gun first  ---- if you dont have some exeperience with guns you cant make an intelliegent decision 2) DO get some training ------ find someone with gun experience and whom you trust to teach you basic gun saftey and handling techniques. 3) BE comfortable with fire arms ----- you should be able to  comfortably work the manual of arms on a gun and replaced the beginners fear with respect for this tool 4) NOW you begin the search ---- you may now look at those guns that appeal to you, compare features,ck fit, and make an informed decision 5) THEN carry and practice ----- train, train, train and train some more.   p.s. -- OP have you considered a career in politics?
  5. Beautiful family. You must be a proud daddy.
  6. May i offer tip #11  "VOTE THE SOB'S OUT OF OFFICE"
  7. this sounds pretty cool. i would definitely be down for this.

  9. How about she pulls out her glock 19 ( or which ever weapon she prefers ) and screams at the top of her voice "YOUR ABOUT TO START MENSTRAUTING"
  10. sweet indeed! look forward to seeing the finished product
  11. thats nothing but 3 minutes and 3 seconds of truth !!!!!!!!  i'd put some of them little smiley faces here but i dont know how.
  12. in the past i sent a sigma and a 1911 back to smith and wesson for repairs. both times the service and turn around time was excellent. if glock did not exist i would probably be a smith and wesson guy.
  13. I thought I had picked up all my brass at last weekends session. Guess I missed a few.
  14. Yes guys buy a shotgun and you can shoot skeet with the prez. Is it just me or the more democrates talk the stupider they sound.
  15. "his assailant then jogged away south across Capitol Drive." the self defense situation ended at this point. the police should have been called. if i were the one making the call here i would call the shooting unjustifed permit or not. this is the kind of person who should have carry permit revoked.
  16. Trying to decide on optics for a ruger 10/22 Walnut Mannlicher. Will use for target dueling tree and plinking. I am thinking about a red dot as opposed to a scope. I have a Simmons scope I could put on it but just wondered if anyone has used a red dot on a 10/22. Your thoughts appreciated.
  17.   i think my original post may not have expressed my thoughts as i intended. i didnt mean to implie i thought the home owner did anything wrong or didnt have the right to do what he did. i just think he placed himself at a tactical disadvantage by leaving his house. what if there had been 5 people out there all armed. the homeowner may never had gotten back into his home. my thinking is while inside the house the homeowner has the tactical advantage. i know that in this case things worked out for the best but i still think his tactics were lacking. there is no property in my yard that i would put my life or the life of my family in that kind of jeopardy for.
  18.   First ive heard of it. Anybody got proof of this alledged shortage or could this just be rumor
  19. this is a living picture of what the liberals redistribution of wealth idealogy produces.
  20. Discount or not I will support any business that openly supports our 2nd amendment rights.
  21. This would be my bet. If their conscience bothers them that bad let them return all the profits they made from gun money or donate it to the victims of these madmen.
