1. I am not sure when back orders are going to be filled. I placed a order for some in stock mags on the 19th and they charged my cc. Two days later no updates on shipping then today the refunded my cc. So I am not sure if I am going to get them or not. :shake:
2. I owned my own 20 gauge by 13. My son owned his by 14. My daughter by 16.   I grew up around hunting and firearms. They were just normal. Same with my children. So to answer your question yes.
3. :koolaid:   A G19 is a great pistol.   Buy 2.   2 is 1 1is none
4. Here is another borrowed from Major Kong.   http://www.44mag.com/product/x-form_black_dog_magazine_steel_lip/black_dog_machine
5. I have been on the lookout for mags that I need/want and have found a few other magazines that may help others looking for them in stock for a good price. These are in stock as of now but who know how long they will last. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Butler-Creek-Steel-Lips-10-22-Magazine/17284222 This is a 10 round mag. http://www.saiga-12.com/ I have not purchased from them. Any others you have found? Please add to the list.
6.   This is what I am hopping for as well. My work and cash flow is much better in the spring. So if there is a huge surplus of stuff and prices fall then I am really going to stock up :pleased:
7.   Will they remember how good of a deal it was at $50 if there is a ban and prices are $100?
8.   Its all boating anyway :pleased:
9. If you are trading say hi cap mags (possible band items) for a revolver(or other items not on the chopping block) do you base your prices before all the hubub or current prices weather higher or lower? :ugh:
10. It does feel like lots of people are taking advantage of a bad situation, but what happens if there is a ban? The prices things are selling for now are only about what half they were during the ban. So they would be a steal of a deal.
11. I have been watching the prices of everything the last few days and they are high enough that I am thinking about selling some things for the (going rate). I have been buying things for myself for months and months but it seems that some other people need them more than me.   So wondering when it will be ok to sale them locally without all the bad press? If I list them here am I ripping off friends or giving them first crack at them? Do I just need to put them on the auction sights and let them ride?   Thoughts and comments?   PS I think this is going to rough but I have been thinking about it (I hope I am not selling my morals for the almighty $) and I am sure others are as well with the prices so high.
12. It reminds me of the gas shortage during Katrina, I stopped at my regular gas station on the way home from work and they were sold out. Two gas stations later I was in line behind several cars and saw a man in a car filling up gas cans and saying he was going home to get his other car and filling it up to. I asked him what was going on and he told me about the shortage :ugh: who knew it was news to me but I had trouble finding gas for sometime after that and the prices :stunned: well you know are still unreal. Glad I only use about 25 gallons per day in my truck and mowers. Just floored by the prices still. :surrender: If it weren't for the internet I wouldn't know about the shortage now. Thank goodness for the internet. :woohoo:
13. I tried to stock up on .22 LR CCI mini mags this morning but Walmart limited me to 5 boxes. Not sure what was up with that but I am going back later today to try again :usa:
14. Money is tight this time of year for me with Christmas and the winter slow down in my line of work, but I have been stocking up as much as I can since the election. Mags and ammo only not enough $ for any new firearms. I never new just how much they cost until recently, it really adds up in a hurry. I am more prepared than ever though.

Meteor Shower

I went out about 2am and saw 7 or 8 in about 5 minutes last night. Man it was cold but still cool.
16.
yeah I'm working on this right now. It's a REALLY good price and that kinda makes me nervous...but I guess going through an FFL pretty much eliminates getting scammed right? I guess it's possible that the dude didn't do his research to see what comparable guns were going for.
You are making me nervous with what you are saying. Some red flags are going up here. Make sure you get some real good confirmation you are dealing with a honest person. Talk with them on the phone and ask for more pictures of different parts of the firearm. This is looking fishy to me.
17.
This is not local by the way. West Coast. So from what I'm getting from you guys its FFL or nothing for out of state?
The only legal way for an out of state transfer is through a in state FFL. And if it to good to be true it is. Like other have said do your research so you don't get scammed
18.
Except for those $28 boxes of 100 round .45's at Wally World; we check at least once a week and they are never in... Now that could be a legit conspiracy.
Behold the conspiracy theory has been found to be untrue. There is really a 100 round 45 value pack and here it with its even more illusive little brother the 9.
19.
You'll get all kinds of answers there. I keep 5,000 rounds or more as shooting stock. The "stash" is much larger. - OS
I currently have between 5000 and 6000 rounds of .22lr and thought I had a nice stash. But from what some of you are saying it looks like I need to make a ammo run. Guess I'm going to be adding to the problem.
20.
I've been buying 2-3 federal bulk packs and 1-2 100 count 12gauge. I'm also about half way to my goal but then again my goal is not a tangible number so much as a certain volume if space.
Even though its not a tangible number, what would be a reasonable amount to have. I to have been seeing the shelves bare at my local walmart.
21. Turkeys not being a big game animal. Turkey season with a daily bag limit of about 5. They are everywhere. Cheaper license Armadillos should have a bounty on their heads.
22. My first thought was why would you shoot such expensive ventage ammo. But now I see you have the modern version. Man that is some nasty looking stuff. Got milk
23.
As mentioned, I have spoken with reps from several manufacturers concerning brands Walmart sells. They dont go through a middle man, straight from the manufacturer and they are the same guns you get anywhere else. BTW, also found that Walmart sells handguns in their Alaska stores and there are "rumors" that Walmart is considering selling some in some of their lower 48 stores.
I herd this handgun rumor about this time last year, but alas none yet. I hope they do start carrying handguns again. Nothing like a (save money live better) brick.
24. It looks great. You are going to have a blast with it.
