    9 mm revolver

Can you link your source for the velocity?

    Ruger 57

I like the 5.7s speed but the cost of the round always stopped me from buying anything chambered in it. Great video.
  3. My top 3! If I shoot they shoot! So much fun!!!
  4. That doesn't look so good. I sure hope they get it worked out soon. I'd really like to have one someday.
  5. I'm really interested but know nothing about them. Educate me Which are better? Gun scope or spotting scope? Are they worth the $? Are they legal to hunt with?
  6. Keto diet is the way to go!!! I haven't read all the comments, but it works!!! I used to run but got burnt out, gained 50ish pounds. Felt bad & couldn't do all the things I enjoy in life. Did keto & lost all of the weight! It's a little hard to learn & adjust in the beginning, but well worth it to enjoy a healthier life!!!
  7. Had a great year! My 1st time back hunting in over 30 years! Been raising a family. Getting back to nature as life slows down. My 1st buck a 7ptr & my biggest ever! Then my 1st coyote ever! Then my 2ed biggest buck ever on January 5! Buy sportsman support wildlife!!!!
  8. Great! Now I got to go look at mine. Hope its witch ever ones better? Enquiring minds need to know
  9. Had a diamondback 22. The D thing cost so much I never shot it. Hoping the new pythons are less than expected. Also hoping they lead to other calibers. I would really like a Anaconda 6in for hunting!!!

    Kel tec

Why am I/you so interested in so many firearms that Kel tec makes? They make so many affordable choices I want!!!
  11. 22 is my favorite to shoot. I'm with others on needing higher capacity mags and a threaded barrel before I'd really be interested in buying one.
  12. I have a cmmg bolt, charging handle, & mag only conversion. Don't use it anymore. Bought it used on here years ago. Only used it a few times in a m&p15 to. Worked well, but was consurned with the extra cleaning. I have a sig p522 with brace that I really like & shoot now. Not for sale. May use it again someday.
  13. Who uses a ozone generator for hunting? How well do you like it? Went hunting with a friend of mine in a blind last week and it seemed to work but I thought it was a little loud. Really considering 1 but witch 1?
  14. A scar17 has incredibly light recoil and so much fun to shoot!
  15. A couple of my wife's targets from last weekend. I got the wild mello yellow can!!!
  16. Will do. I have lots of different 22 rounds and will include as many as possible with details. Its a real eye opener how each round differs when used for what its designed for. (FMJ, Hollow point, soft point, Speeds, etc)
  17. You can see that the center block is a little cloudy. It was the experimental block. Thought I needed Pam so it wouldn't stick to the mold but it made the block cloudy and hard to see test results. You can see all the way through the other two blocks and they pop right out of the mold. Much easier to see the results. All ready for this weekends tests!!! Any requests for specific rounds? Looking forward to a 45ACP and 30-30 this time!!!
  18. I used .99 cent rectangle containers from walmart. They are much easier to work with and will fit in the microwave for remelting and the fridge for thickening. Its a blast!!!
  19. The gel does a great job with hollow points. Full metal jackets have all went through all three blocks so far. I'll hopefully have time this weekend to do some more testing. The top two are 44 mag and the bottom two are 9mm.
  20. This a video of the 357 mag. The 44 mag blew the first block off the table!!! 6971_001.mp4
  21. I used the great value brand gelatin from Walmart and mixed it according to the directions on the box. Only cost $20 to make all three blocks. Its just for fun and not calibrated.
  22. I've been watching lots of gun shows lately with bullistics gel test so it seemed like allot of fun to do some testing myself. Made it myself and I have been remelting it and using it for more tests. Here are my first test results. Each block is 12 inches thick. Left top is a 9mm Hornady Critical Defense hollow point. (i don't remember the weight or speed). Threw the box away. It stopped 6 inches into the second block. Shot from a Kahr PM9 3 inch barrel. Left bottom is American Eagle 9mm 147 grain FMJ. Velocity is 1000 FPS subsonic. (normally I shot these suppressed). It went all the way through all three blocks. Shot from a Sig P290 3 inch barrel. Center top is a Federal 44 Mag. 240 grain JHP. Velocity is 1230 FPS. It stopped at the back of the second block. Shot from a S&W 29 with a 4 inch barrel. Right is a Federal 357 Mag 158 grain JSP. Velocity is 1240 FPS. It went through all three blocks. Shot from a S&W 19 with a 4 inch barrel. The 44 Mag is awesome!!! 44 Mag on top. Hornady 9mm
  23. Ran into a friend of mine at the TSC the other day, he has started his own business making whiskey. I stopped by the liquor store on the way home and picked up a bottle of his whiskey. Looking forward to having a sip. Maybe for New Years?
  24. Congrats. Its a horrible thing to beat. Wellbutrin will set you free of this beast. Been tobacco free for over 10 years myself after being hooked for 20+ years of my 1st 35.
  25. It would be nice if they made a tactical version.
