  1. Does anyone know of a gunsmith in, or within reasonable driving distance of, Dickson that can drill and pin a front sight base on an AR? I would like to use a benefactor slash member of this site if possible.
  2. I have a model 60 marlin. I freakin love Marlin rifles. Probably the best first rifle you could have.
  3. Zombies love brains. So if our brains are where they say they are...Then this is a no brainer.
  4. I got the Palmetto barrel and the upper came from surplusammo.com. They don't carry the upper only anymore. It only comes in a matched set with a lower. I kinda thought the finish was a little thick on the barrel. But now I'm not so sure.
  5. The truest words in history have just been spoken.
  6. Anyone recommend or just know of a (good) gunsmith in our around (at least within reasonable driving distance) of Dickson? I will be looking to have an FSB pinned on an AR barrel before long. Any help is appreciated.
  7. I shoot one sometimes. It's hit and miss.
  8. The hot/cold treatment worked. Fell to gether like nobody's business. I wrapped the barrel up in a towel to let it warm up slowly and not condensate. Now that everything is up to room temperature, I can get it all the way but about 1/16 now by hand now. Thanks for the info.
  9. Thanks a lot. I will try that and post results.
  10. It sounded like a grenade throwing match over there today.
  11. Thanks guys. I would guess the grease would need to be moly grease withou any graphite?
  12. My AR barrel fits extremely tight into the receiver. So tight I can't get half way in by hand. Is it cool to try a little grease and a few light taps with soft faced hammer? The upper is aero precision and the barrel is: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/upper-parts/barrels/16/16-5-56-nato-1-7-chrome-lined-chrome-moly-vanadium-hpt-mp-mid-length-gas-a2-style-profile-barrel.html
  13. They have some cool stuff. Definitely going to make the water level at my bank go down.
  14. Awesome. That's hilarious.
  15. I know. I wish I had not found it. I'm trying to figure out how much an AR build is gonna cost me and it just keeps going up.
  16. This site has tons of stuff. It's really great if you like laser engraved logos on your gun. Especially AR's. I even saw a forward assist button with a thundercats logo. http://www.ndzperformance.com/
  17. This is what I was thinking. There are some good vids on Youtube about how to turn this stuff into epoxy. And if they're in cedar boxes anyway, I wouldn't see how it could affect the taste that much. But I could be wrong about that.
  18. Real men don't drink lime beer.
  19. Seemed appropriate considering the owner of this site wrote the alphabet of manlieness. Language is a little rough but we're all real men, right? http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=real_men
  20. ^^^^Yes to this. And real man's word is his bond.
  21. If you hover your cursor over it, it gives an enlarged view. That way you can really check it out good. See what it's made of.
  22. Commonly overlooked zombie prep. You will never survive without it. http://www.ar15outfitters.com/XXL-Tactical-Package-SupporterJock-Strap_p_2127.html
  23. I almost turned into a zombie last night because of this site. Scroll. Click. Save. Scroll. Click. Save... I didn't even make a dent in it.
  24. What about guns and leather. Their offerings look pretty good. http://www.gunsandleathershootingacademy.com/ Look under the "Courses" heading on the right side of the page.
