  1. Thanks! Will do
  2. Thanks. I haven't been able to find any plumb axe heads that look just like it. But Collins....There were some pics that were identical. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Don't know why the pics are upside down. My phone does that but I fixed them in photobucket. But they are still wrong here?
  4. if any of you are into old axes....I found this old axe head on an old trailer. It was buried in a bunch of junk that I was loading up to carry off. It is in excellent shape. The rust is pretty much all surface rust. Which is amazing considering it has been outside for years. Maybe some of you will know...I think it is an old Plumb. The "M 3-1/2" marking is all there is. It does appear that it used to be blue. Can't tell it from any of the pics but there was a little on the bottom around the eye. This is my first axe restore. It is soaking in vinegar now. Can't wait til in the morning to see what it looks like. Below is a link to the only info I could find about it. Towards the bottom of the page you will see a "M 3-1/2" marking that looks like the one on mine. This is what makes me think it is a Plumb. This is all I can find. If anybody has any additional info that would be great. Other than that keep checking back and I will post pics of the progres. http://yesteryearstools.com/Yesteryears%20Tools/Plumb%20Co..html
  5. Just turn the TV on MSNBC.
  6. Happy New Year!
  7.   Yes..
  8.   Well...I was listening to my Spice Girls stations on Slacker and Pandora.
  9. The redhead used to be my favorite. i guess my tastes have changed.
  10. Admit it...Melanie C. (Sporty Spice) was the hottest.
  11. Fat SOB Santa was late but I picked this up yesterday..
  12.   Thanks. I'll have to look into that. While the .40 recoil wasn't as bad as I had heard...The crappy trigger was true. I like the way it breaks but it's like plowing gravel to get to it.

    9mm vs .40

SOLVED.....I gotted a .40... :D I must say the .40 recoil isn't nearly as bad as it is made out to be. This little jewel shoots sweet.
  14. in·fringe   /inˈfrinj/   Verb Actively break the terms of (a law, agreement, etc.): "infringe a copyright". Act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on: "infringe on his privacy".       Infringe...We has it.
  15.   This is what I think. BUT...After the mid-term if they gain the house they will try again. And be successful. I guess it's a good thing I have sold every gun i own, including those pictured on this site....To some guy at the gun show of course...
  16. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate you guys. Mine came with the black insert. It didn't give any trouble through 60 rounds. Again I know not much but it's all I had at the time. Maybe ammo will be available again someday soon. I'm itchin to really give it a workout.
  17. Is it necessary? Bolt came with the o-ring separate. (BCM BCG) I thought I read somewhere that it was mainly for full auto and a semi-auto may not need it. What do you guys think? I do have 60 rounds through it with no probs. I know 60 isn't a lot but it's what I had.
  18.       Piers is ALWAYS unarmed for both of these!!
  19. I didn't think about it but Wal-Mart cuts out the middle man and goes directly to the manufacturer. I guess I can see how they can get below wholesale. I hear they are brutal to their suppliers.
  20.   That is a good point. Now I would say most of the time buying retail would not produce the best price for someone who intends on selling retail themselves. UNLESS the wholesalers are gouging and have raised their price to or above those of places like Wal-Mart. In which case it would be acceptable for a dealer to buy guns at Wal-Mart and mark them up.
  21. It may not be illegal but I bet if the manufacturers found out it would be a different story. I have seen a guitar manufacturer come down on a small shop for doing that. Once they are sold the warranty starts. (guitars) So technically the guy was selling used guitars as new. But they had no warranty because it is non transferable. And selling used as new I don't think is legal. Might be something to check into.
  22.   I know, i know...It sucks right now. I'm thinking of hitting a gun show or two and if I can't find a a fair price on a pistol then I'll look into reloading. I do at least know what the pistol I want *should* cost. The pistol was going to be my next big purchase anyway. Then some ammo, and then reloading stuff...But now I may have to reverse that. If I do that at least I can shoot the guns I have while I wait for stuff to come back in stock and return to more normal pricing...
  23. I kept waiting for it to try and mount him..
  24. :panic:    <---------Been doing a lot of that trying to decide whether to buy a pistol or a ton of .223. Can't do both. They may not be banned but they are only going to go up.
  25.   You broke my thinker thing...
