we went there acouple of years ago. we went to see the statue of liberty. i set the scanner off because i had a small lock blade knife .i pulled it out of my pocket and layed it down on the counter. the woman grabs it ,holds it in the air and starts shouting knife 3-4 times. 3 big cops grabed me and gave me a search.then wanted to know why i had it.i told them i just got out of the army and never went any where without one. they keep the knife and told me i was lucky that they did not take me to jail.i told then that they would not want to see what i kept on me when i was at home.they can keep that place. it was like a dump .people were rude and most would not even talk to you.

i think i will stick to smelling my gun smoke when i shoot. that gives me all the high i need.

you can keep your big old city ,maryville has gotten to big for me.i keep telling the wife i would like to move out west .

when i shw that it did not have them i put it back on the rack and did not even look to see what model it was.

i looked at one of the m&p ar's ,it had the 16" barrel but not dust cover ot foward assist so that knocked it for me.i am retired from the army so i know how important they are.

i may not get any ss but idid get a letter a few months ago saying that my retirement check will be cut .big thanks for staying in the military for 21 years.hearing is shot and i feel way older than what i am.let the big shots in goverment who bring home a big check get cut and see how they like it.also as to my hearing i am suspose to draw some off it ,but my medical records cannot be found.

i got one from them last week. it was in execellent shape with matching numbers.1933 dated hex reciever with a bore that looked new.

i like both of mine,but i lean more towards the yugo because it was a military rifle.

it took me a while when i switched over to the xd,i eithier carried a 1911 or a 9mm with the saftey.i carried both the 9and 45 when i was in the army so i got use to haveing a safety on a gun i had to move to shoot.

i have had no problems with my mueller reflex red dot. i got it from opticsplanet for around $94 and it has a 2 year warranty. i have it mounted on my vz58

i would not trade my galco king tuk for a crossbread holster. got it for $49 delivered and it is made to look like the combat cut theat crossbred sells. i wear it all day and sometimes forget i have it on.i carrya xd40 sub compact

if you don't trade the cz82 for a pistol i have a czech 98/22 mauser in vg shape matching but the bolt i might be willing to trade toward it and the ammo. gun shoot good and is in either the first 10000 block or the second batch. germans and czechs started the sn over again when they got to 10,000 but added a letter to the sn to keep up with it.

i collect k98's so as long as the head space is good it does not matter if they match.most of the russiac capture rifles can be found easy,widners in johnson city has themfor $325.i have checked many mausers over the years and have only found a few that the head space was bad enough not to shoot ,with the russian captured k98's that has all ready been done at some point by the russians.8mm ammo is still cheap around $200-$250 for a case .if you do find one that has matching numbers expect to pay around $800 and up.

walmart in maryville went up acouple of weeks ago .the federal was $12.95 now $14.95 the tula was alittle over $10 now it is $12 or so.9mm is still ok but i have around 500 rounds and have not shot any of it in a few years.

you can pick up a good mig at lowes .if you want it to look good go with gas if it does not matter as much flux core is good .it just takes alot more pratice with the flux to mark good looking welds.i still use my old lincoln 120

the only people i see are in the gun store's or sometimes some young guys who may have just got ther hcp and want to show off.i did see 2 rough looking bikers at hardees a few weeks ago open carry and no one even seemed to notice .
