m48 starts out at 200 yards it's an odd ball . k98's start out at 100 yards and and most orthers do to. been collecting them for 20 years or more.that is where my member name comes from a german k98 dou44 that was my first mauser.still have it and shoot it.

southern ohio guns has the surplus for $3.99 box.cheaper if you buy alot. that is all i ever shoot in mine,i have the mosin nagants and mausers, mauser is alot better gun . bolt is easier to operate and smoother, eaiser to take apart also.

had my xd40 on me today.

i have shot it for years in my k98's and ak's without any problems. clean with hot water or windex to kill salts. dry off and them clean and oil as normal

just how many girls do you see now that does not have a cell phone. if they even tried to come it i would put them down.

but where else can you watch them clean a jap rifle and only charge $150 to clean it.but i still like it most of the time.

i do not care if i had a bunch of people to follow me with zombies everywhere. small groups of people 3-6 would be better anyway.less food to worry about and less noise also.leve 3 at the base camp to keep it safe and 3 can go out on a s&d or food and ammo run.

my old 98 chevy had 250,000 miles on it when i sold it. i changed the oil every 3000-5000 miles. replaced hoses around 4-5 years. never changed the brake fluid or had to replace the mc.i did replace the timeing chain at 200,000 miles.truck still did not use oil or smoke and still got 18-20 miles a gal with the 350 engine.i hope the 07 i bought new holds up like that. it has 51.000 on it now.

their is a small flee market at the old drive in theater on 321.saw some mn 91/30's sat for $300. their is also a guy that sells reload ammo with lead bullets .
