Good Day folks! This is a fun one and unique! This is a Colt Hartford which was manufactured in the Colt plant and shipped to Argentina. Colt produced 10,000 units between 1927 and 1928. It’s pretty rare to find a numbers matching example and this is one of the first 2,220 to come from Colt. This is not a Sistema nor was it made in South America with Colt tooling and production equipment. I’ve included as many pictures as possible and the slide, frame and barrel match. The import mark is located behind the magazine release. This one has been Arsenal refinished and it was common to replace some of the smaller parts as they were worn. The gun is in really nice condition and it would make a great addition to any collection considering the low serial number and scarcity. For the true aficionado, we can discuss looking under the sear spring but my current gun smithing skills aren’t up for it!;-) If I had to guess, I’d say the frame and lower are original and matching…the grips were most likely replaced at the arsenal. I don’t know if the barrel is original but it is numbers matching. It has some signs of patina and they parkerized over it but it has been kept in great condition overall. I’ve searched gunbroker and the auctions and can’t find a good read on the current value and insanely low serial number. What’s clear is that it was manufactured in 1927 in the Colt plant in Hartford, CT and the frame and slide match. If you love collecting Colts, you are more than welcome to come check it out at my office in Cool Springs. To be perfectly honest, I have no clue what the current value is….it’s worth $2,000 to me but I’m open to offers. It’s a gorgeous piece of history for sure!

I have a VERY lightly used Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM 16 CQB chambered in .308. This is the classic M1, but modernized and resting in the ArchAngel furniture with the adjustable butt stock, QD mounts galore. I have purchased and had professionally installed the Spingfield 4th Gen Scope Mount that is made specifically for the M1 platform so you have a traditionally placed scoped. In Leupold scope rings, I have a Vortex Vipe PST 1-4x24 scope with TMCQ reticle. I have 4 20 round metal M1 mags, and 1 10 round M1 mags. I have the bag, the patch, all the papers, all the boxes for scope, rings and scope mount. I had a professional gunsmith install the mount, the rings and the scope. It is zeroed at 100 yards. I am in Murfreesboro and am willing to ship (we can discuss shipping costs) but would prefer to meet f2f. Require TN Pistol Permit to purchase. Have some 6.5 Creedmoor ammo that I thought I would use, but sold the rifle I purchased it for. I don't have anything else in 6.5 CM to use it on.
