Looking for new home for a loving pet!!

Ok so here is the scoop on Daisy. She is a loving large house dog. She is a coon hound but has never been a hunter but a house dog since she was a puppy. She is totally house trained, gets along well with other dogs and cats and most of all children. She has had a 19 month old little girl pulling on her ears and tail and has never shown any aggression what so ever. She is almost 4 years old and giving her up is not an option. It is a must or she would not be looking for a new home. My friend found out about 2 months ago that he must give her up because they are expecting a new baby and the doctors have realized that the baby has a couple issues with her heart and they are going to take the baby by C-section 10 days earlier than birthdate and the baby will go directly from the mothers womb to the heart surgery room and undergo open heart surgery to correct the problems with the baby's heart. It will require the baby remaining in the hospital for about 2 months and the doctor told my friend that any and all pets need to go and the house has to be professionally cleaned and sanitized before the baby comes home. So that is the reason Daisy needs a new home. If I didn't have Rosie I would take her in a heartbeat but I can't afford 2 critters. I will have pictures of her soon for folks to see but I wanted to get people thinking about her.

A coon dog in the house would make one helluva security system, methinks.

We have a Walker Beagle mix, yes they are very good at letting you know someone is out side.

With 5 dogs it would be tuff to take in a new one.

We have 5 cats as well, my wife and daughter are something else. I’ll tell my wife when we die , she’ll be running the pound and I’ll be cleaning it up.

Ok so here is an update on Daisy. Her owner has made the decision that he will only let someone have her that he knows personally so y'all can disregard my previous post. He has made the decision so the ball is totally in his court now.

Thanks to all of your posts and I guess I'm done with my part of helping him.!!
