Has anyone seen a DWX for sale?  Especially a Compact?  Are they vaporware?

They're out there.  One popped up in Nashville for sale used and moved quickly.

Try Gunbroker, I was able to pick up the Dwx Compact. It’s been a greater shooter and fit/finish is great.

I have the compact.  The gun feels great in my hand and is very accurate.  I am using it as my everyday carry.

Since this is a new handgun it is very difficult to find holsters.  I was able to get a IWB Kydex holster from Red Hill Tactical.  It had a price of $71.00.  For now it is working for me, but will look for others in the future.

Maybe my Valkyrie holster will work.  The dust cover looks thicker.  Have you tried any 1911 holsters?

No I have not tried any 1911 holsters.  I will check that out this afternoon and get back.

Thanks for checking!  I suspected it wouldn't.  There's a guy on this forum, around Nashville, that does custom leather.  Maybe I can get him to make one.  The waiting time for most custom leather is too long.

I found this holster for my Dan Wesson DWX compact at Urban Carry Holsters.  Just got it in tonight and it looks like a pretty good fit.   I will keep you updated.

Well, Uncle Sugar bought me a DWX Compact (covid check)!  I ordered a nice holster from Tucker and found out today it will take 3 months to get it! 

What do you think of that Urban Carry?

I really like this holster.  The gun fits very tight in the holster, but it is breaking in pretty good.  It is a very comfortable to wear.

OK, I ordered one based solely on your recommendation  and it's due in a day or so.  At least I'll be able to carry it. 

I've seen addresses for Urban Carry in Sanford, FL and Monterey, TN and the holster is shipping from McDonough, GA.  Wonder who they are and where, really.  TN would be great!

I believe they are out of Sanford, Fl.  When you receive your holster Urban Carry recommends you place you gun in a plastic bag and then holster your gun with the gun in the bag.  That will help with the break in.  Let us know how you like it.
