Darth Vader whoops arse!!!

David Prowse who played Darth Vader in the first 3 Star Wars movies will be in Knoxville for Adventurecon in mid June. Not that I have a vintage Don Post helmet for him to sign or am into anything that geeky :P

Will James Earl Jones narrate at the show?

Very funny, but the creator obviously doesn't understand the weapons compliment of a Correlian made Imperial Star Destroyer. The Enterprise may be immune to lasers, but I highly doubt it is totally immune to Ion cannons (electrical disruption) or Tibanna gas fueled blaster cannons. :shake: If you're gonna do it, do it right.

Besides, Palpatine would have seen this ahead of time, and probably hired a crack team of Mandalorian merc's to handle Picard. Ten minutes after contact, Picard and Riker would be sucking hard vacuum.:yum:

The other unrealistic part of this is that Picard would not really return fire but instead file a sternly worded letter of concern with the Federation Committee on Intragalactic Diplomacy, then wring his hands in worry that he might have reacted too harshly.

HAHAHAHA! OK, now you've made me laugh this morning!

This thread rocks - if for no other reason than to affirm that I am not quite as geeky as my wife would think.

Due to time constraints, James Earl Jones is unable to attend the show. Instead, Gary Coleman, who was already scheduled to appear will be doing the voiceover for Darth Vader

Yup, You heard me, Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges will be signing autographs at Adventurecon in Knoxville. Not quite sure how they tie in to the Sci FI thing but I did see them on " Child Stars Gone Bad"
