As someone who also came to faith at a later like he did (and to the same tradition as well), I find that he is especially adept at transmitting certain truths in just the perfect manner. 
 

If you are a fan of both Lewis and Tolkien, I cannot recommend “A Hobbit, A Wardrobe, and a Great War” by Joseph Loconte enough. It’s about their friendship and how their faith and experiences in WWI deeply affected them both.

I’d never seen that quote before, and have now seen it twice in one day.
