Most likely no. The Anderson Brand is dead. Ruger bought them for their manufacturing capability.

The Poverty Pony is dead.

Long live the Frugal Phoenix.

Well, chit! They were a staple for me.

I hate it for the folks in Hebron, Kentucky. I'm guessing it was a major employer in that town.

I think they’ll be alright. Ruger isn’t interested in the brand name, but they were interested in the manufacturing capacity. According to what I’ve read, those folks still have jobs.

That is a bit reassuring. Thanks.

Two articles I just read said Ruger wanted the capacity including facility, machinery, and staff. Speculation is to not only increase capacity but expand their offerings. So it may be like Ruger/Marlin and produce what Anderson top sellers are. If the Marlin aquisition is any indication we should expect higher quality control for Anderson products with a short interruption in availability.

Might wanna pay attention to what AR manufacturers are suddenly out of stock over the next few months. Anderson was the OEM for a lot of folks who kept that under wraps publicly.

The poverty pony was getting rode by a lot of fancy folks.

I don't doubt that for a second. I've always had good luck with anything from Anderson.
