Lots of used M & P pistols around for $450-$500. I have seen them new in several gun stores for well over $600 though. These same stores were asking $600 for standard Glocks too. Many gun stores are still trying to ride the '08 gun scare wave.

That said it pays to shop.

i'm trying to sell mine (unfired, LNIB) for $500. I got taken to the cleaners as the poster said above on the one i bought. After shipping + ffl fee (or taxes) and background check, you're looking at $570 or so. i found it's much better to buy online and pay the shipping and ffl fee if you're buying new.

Got mine new 547.00. Don't remember the total because I got a holster and ammo at the same time so tax and fed stuff has to be added. Also look on the Smith and Wesson site and you can see the MSRP on the new ones....
