Can someone tell me if the three finger grips helps the shootability of the snub? I pull to the right with the short grips. I put the hogue grips on my full size 38 and it helped my accuracy a lot. Will it do the same if I have a set that is full size and covers the backstrap? Thanks for the input in advance.

Yes they do.Because they help with the recoil. What part of E tn you in. I have a set of hogue rubber grips you can try. I live around Knoxville.

Having recently acquired a S&W 340PD, I whole heartedly recommend any grip that provides some rubber cushion, especially at the top near the web of your hand. I have the 3 fingered Crimson Trace grips and shot full power 357 one handed-weak hand and hit the 6inch shootNc every time. The extra material at the top kept it from "twisting" like other J-frames have on me. I'm sure the pinky helped too with a little more leverage. They also extend the trigger reach. I thought I'd broken some fingers the first time I shot a friends "old school" 38 with 158gr +Ps and minimal slick wood grips.
