Rat 7 sheath

I just bought this Rat 7 from Major Kong (thanks again man) The knife is awesome, I plan to break it in this weekend on my camping trip. Anyway, I love the knife, but I am not a fan of the sheath. Although the sharpening stone pocket fits my S&W multi tool perfectly, the sheath isn't made real well and will not last with any normal use. I would like to buy a better sheath for it, something that has better stitching and thicker nylon, canvas or even kydex. Does anyone here have experience making sheaths? I'm sure I can go to Smokey Mountain Knife Works and find something, but I would rather deal with someone on TGO and get exactly what I want. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

If you want to go the mfg route, they make a kydex sheath for their knives. You can get the options of just kydex, kydex with a molle back or molle back with a pouch. I've been reading up on these lately. I'm thinking about a ESEE-5 (RAT-5) or maybe a 4.

Hey Caveman, I PM'd you the info on the sheath maker that Oh Shoot and I met at the gun show last weekend. Glad you like the knife.

Yeah, think I'm gonna look that feller up at some point.

But I believe he's a leather guy only.
