Well, I sold my Beretta Tomcat and put that money down on a new XD9 SC. I found one dealer there cheaper than anyone else. $459 plus the tax and fee. That was about $30 cheaper than anyone else. I am seeing a lot of people trying to sell their used ones for $450, so I felt like this was a pretty good deal.

I just got done cleaning it and it's ready to go.

I bet you are really going to love that gun. I'm a 1911 guy and bought my XD9sc last fall. I just couldn't put it down after feeling how comfortable it was in my hand. Things have not improved. I'm now kinda wanting a service size XD with a little longer barrel for some IDPA type shooting. My XD has been solid. The only thing I've had trouble with is my thumb hitting the slide lock, so I've had to adjust my dominant thumb position. The XD9sc literally feels like a glove to me. Hope you enjoy yours as much!

I'm a big 1911 fan as well. I have several and carry my Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II most of the time. I had bought the Tomcat for my wife and she did not like it, so I got her a Ruger LCP which she loves. I had owned a Kimber XD45 in the past and remembered how accurate it was. While all my other guns are metal, the urge hit me to get a subcompact in plastic. The feel is great. Pulled out the heat gun and remolded my crossbreed to accomodate the new purchase. Fits perfect and can't wait to go to the range with it.

Glad to hear the positive comments from other owners.
