IDPA Classifier July 2nd - Music City Tactical Shooters in Dickson, TN

Recommended Posts

There is a pretty good set of videos on the Down Range TV site that gives some good advice on how to shoot the classifier. These are hosted by Caleb Giddings and he goes through each stage and string of the classifier giving good suggestions along the way. The videos are geared to making Master class but the information is relevant to all levels of shooter.

I had nearly as much fun talking with the guys in our squad as I did shooting. Wish I was as good at shooting as I am at running my mouth. What a great bunch of folks to spend a day with. Thanks all.

Hognut, How many misses did you have or did you get them all on? I had three misses in SSP:) and seven:( in ESP.

I am happy with my scores but would like to shoot a big match to really see where I stand.

We had a great group of guys in our squad and really had a good time.

I wanted to thank all the guys who shot with us on Bay 2. Everyone helped with pasters and kept the match rolling along. It was nice to meet all of you I had not seen before. All of you were a great group to shoot with and I hope you had a fun day.

Good luck with the lower score! I don't think the range bag will have anything to do with it. It always should be your goal to do better each time going to shoot whether it is your time, shots down/accuracy, reading reload spots, etc. Hopefully, everyone will go up in division this weekend.....as the way it should be. What's the point of staying at Novice, Mechanic......LOL. You only compete against kids.

Let me get this right, if I am novice then I am one of the kids. Nice to know I'm not going to age.

I believe you moved up in division at the classifier back in February. You are not a novice with all the years you have been shooting.

Great! Now both you and Robert have different logins.

r u talking ESP or SSP? I know I'm marksman in ESP, but still Novice in SSP. Right?

Well how about that. I moved up and didn't even know it.

"Years have nothing to do with it. It's repetition, repetition, repetition."

Great! Now both you and Robert have different logins.[/QUOT
