What’s the best app for viewing this forum on a Droid?

Free or not. What the best app for a Droid 3?

Just using the standard web browser I have to keep resizing and even then have trouble picking things like “Quick Links†and “subscribed Threadsâ€.

Also, how does your recommendation work with the new software David is going to go to?

Best app I have found for this is Tapatalk.

If you google the getjar marketplace, you can get a slightly outdated version of Tapatalk for free. As previously mentioned, it works great for this site.

David has already started that ipb (?) works with tapatalk, although it might not be necessary.

I've only used tapatalk and it works well. Even with my tablet I could use the webpage and don't.

Another vote for Tapatalk from GetJar. Just uninstall the GetJar down-loader app once Tapatalk is installed.

I saw someone using something called Smoke Signals? I'm not sure if that was a joke by the user or an actual app. If anyone knows I'd be curious as to what that is. An android market search came up with nothing for me.

So far the only thing I had seen was Tapatalk and I'm glad for the heads up on the free older version. I like to try something before I buy it.

It was originally a joke at my own expense because my Casio flip phone, while virtually indestructible, is the technological equivalent of sending smoke signals. Since then, it's been picked up and used by another member who actually uses Tapatalk.

First time using this tapatalk but it seems pretty nice. Easy to navigate around the forums, read, and make replies. I'd recommend it so far.

what exactly do these apps change or improve? I surf TGO on my droid all the time and don't have any issues. Do these apps really make it that much easier to surf the forum?

I feel it does. I don't have to zoom in, wait for the phone to lag around, hit the wrong button, wait for graphics to load, paused etc. Very nice and smooth surfing experience right now. Give the free version a go.
