Music City Cup II - 2012

Recommended Posts

We are in the final stages of having everything ready. Can't wait to get my butt whipped at the match. The process has been long and rewarding. GREAT prize table for all competitors!

Are you planning on putting a shooters list out?

ETA: Just found your Facebook page- nevermind LOL!

The list is being updated daily. Every division every class should receive at least one bump(except MA class, this is not Nationals).

‎13 Total Stages for the Music City Cup II (Minimum 211 round count)

18 round count - 6 stages

17 round count - 4 stages

16 round count - 2 stages

03 round count - 1 stage

There will be NO Visitors/Spectators allowed on the range Friday. The match workers do not need distractions while they are shooting. Please give them a BIG THANK YOU for working the match. We could not do this without their support, dedication, and participation so that all can enjoy. Registration will take place at the Hampton Inn hotel. It will begin at 5 PM.

I have received word that we will not be having an Dist. Masters at the Music City Cup II. Some of the DM were prize sponsors and needed to hold a spot for them at the match. I held off allowing Novice shooters because of our scoring software does not allow for DM classifications. I will open the Music City Cup II match on November 3rd to Novice shooters. I will not charge a late fee for the entry(because this was not your fault for this delay). All other competitors will be at the late fee price. When you fill out the application, pencil in Novice as the classification.

Waiver: http://www.mctsclub.com/waiver.pdf

I apologize for this delay and hope to see you there. We still have some space available.

Question, what about an unclassed shooter, I am a idpa member but I was not able to make the last classifier, would I be allowed to shoot?

Thx steve

All competitors must be classified(MA, EX, SS, MM, NV). All IDPA members are to have shot one classifier every year. It is late in the year and I just looked at the area IDPA clubs(MCTS, Gallatin, Jackson, Henry County) and there were 8 classifiers this year. When did you get your IDPA membership? There may be time to find a classifier somewhere.

This novice will not make it as I have scheduled a yard sale that day. Maybe next year I will be at least a marksman.

as a cdp novice, what time does the yard sale start?

a few years ago I shot as a novice and we shot with the super squad. KC and the others were loud and a lot of fun  They were a great bunch to be with.

Great weather indeed!

Has the match filled up or is there some room for walk-ons?

COFs listed anywhere?

The stages will be unveiled in a very nice handbook at registration.

There is still room for walk-ons, but the match is filling up quickly. There has been a huge surge in interest over the last few days.

Look forward to seeing you at the match!

What a match. I shot like crap but I did have a couple of break throughs that I think will help in the future.
Congrats to the winners and those that got match bumps. For everyone; it is Master CatsEye now.
I scored the whole match and only had one mistake :) . That was caught anyway ;) .

Now dig out those lights and get ready for the day/night match on Nov. 17th.

Thanks to everyone who made it to this year's match. I'm already looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Music City Cup III.

Congrats to CatsEye on the win and the bump to CDP MA (about time), and to Norma for winning High Lady (yet again). Also, congrats to my SO partner, Stanley Hodgin, on winning the ESR Sharpshooters.

And, a special thanks to all the SO's and match workers for volunteering their time and effort to help make the match a success. We couldn't have done it without you.

This was a fantastic match. Interesting and challenging stages, both in assembly and shooting. Lots of stuff to keep you hopping, including the surprise thunderstorm at the end.

I had a fantastic time even though I totally sucked on Friday. Was great to meet so many awesome people that came through Stage 5.

Congrats to all the winners, and great job SOs! And thank you Michael for all your hard work. Try not to fall into any more ditches.

Thanks to Mike and the MCTS crew for putting on this match. I helped run a match in September and know what a job it can be.
